Ontario Knife Company Co BSH 12 Inch Sheath Black

This was perfect for my 12" long 2" wide bowie. None of the other companies had a sheath that would fit even though "Rufus" said otherwise. If you have a big bowie with these deminsions then get this and it will not rust your knife.

Great combination sheath & machete! Very satisfied with both of these products and their functionality. Good quality synthetic sheath…looks good…does a good job.

A sheath is not necessary for a backyard tool, but it is a must for field or camp carry. This is a sturdy companion for the Ontario 12 inch machete. However, it does not contain a dedicated full length edge guard. So if the blade is sharpened to a slicing edge, it appears to me that a hasty withdrawal could cut the nylon skin or the edge binding from the inside. A series of steel rivets would prevent any personal injury. With care in use, it is a good product at a great price.

This is a very nice option for the Ontario Machete. The Machete fits perfectly and is very easy to put in and take out. The Ontario Machetes are very sharp and thus sheath is well made, very light, and will protect your edge when carrying or packing the Machete. A very nice option and worth the money.

Fits like a glove and is rigid an well. Made an water resistant. Would buy again and use often great value and came a week early

Don't know about the durability on this one, I want something that won't get cut through while it's crammed inside a pack that I'll be carrying through the mountains. Update: I originally gave it 3 stars. Since then I bought an 18" one. I think they are good for the price. If you need all the bells and whistles you'll have to pay the price. I just discovered that these are lined with a "pleather" type of material, so that seems to explain the sturdier than expected feel. I bought this one for a Tramontina, fit like it was made for it.

Excelente producto muy ligero y funcional espero darle uso rudo y ya veremos que tal su duración aunque es muy cómoda y práctica. Al menos la puse de funda de un machete tramontina campamento y le quedó a la medida. Su enganche lateral es ideal para porte en cintura con un cinturón de combate.

Buon tessuto e ottimo pezzo. nato per un machete, ho voluto adattarlo ad un Cold Steel Bushman e ci sono riuscito senza difficoltà. Spedizione veloce e imballo perfetto.

A little bit for my blade but that is my mistake. It's well made for the cost.

Fits the Ontario CT1 12 inch machete perfectly. Looks like some sort of leather or pleather lining on the inside and nylon on the outside. The grommet holes look like they'd protect the stitching well enough in use, though I can't say if they make contact with the blade. Overall, comfortable to wear on my belt making my CT1 usable in the field. My only complaint is that it costs nearly as much as the CT1 machete.
