**Q: What is the dimension of the glass part of the bulb, b24553?**
A: The Ottlite bulb b24553 was designed to fit OttLite L24554 Task Plus High-Definition 24-Watt Floor Lamp, Dove Grey which I ordered from Amazon last October. The glass part of the bulb measures 11.5". The glass part of the bulb plus the visible plastic housing measures 12.25". The length of the entire bulb area opening measures 13". I've had a four different Ottlite lamps and each one required a different bulb. Bulbs rarely fit more than one specific Ottlite lamp.

A: The replacement I bought on Amazon states PL24-C Bulb Replacement type 24W and also says Model B24553 Ottlite Illumination on the box.  I don't know if that helps or not.  Look at your bulb and then look at pictures of the replacements online--might help.  Good luck.

A: On the description of the product, it says the bulb is made to fit only 24 watt Ott light lamps.  Is your lamp that? If not, I would guess not.
