Totally excellent screen, best I've ever used, see video
The media could not be loaded. The most notable feature I would recommend about this cable tester/ scanner is the remarkable clear and well detailed screen. THis is possibly the best , most easy to read screen I've ever used and my video should demonstrate that well. At any angle, in weak or strong sunlight, this screen is simply the best.I do have to say that this screen does have a very discreet screen protection cover over it. This is NOT obvious when you look at the meter, because it's so well cut and adhered to the screen shape. However, you can safely use a fingernail to pick the corner and peel this back easily. The meter itself is a great all in one test device. Not only for telephone circuits to check port mapping and continuity, but also there's a built in basic multimeter that can test for ACV, DCV, AC & DC current, diode, continuity, NCV temperature and resistance. There is also a facility to test wiring for conductor integrity, using the probe scanner. Unfortunately, there is very little instruction as to how to use this, so you should be familiar with this method before purchasing. The scanner alo acts as a rather good bug detector, as it sounds different frequencies for radio transmissions. One negative that I'll mention here is the tiny screw that holds the cover on the replaceable fuse is NOT encapsulated. It's very easy to lose and it's small enough to get lost. The manual could be a bit more comprehensive at explaining how to use this device, but I'm expecting buyers will know how it's used. The meter is powered via a builtin rechargeable battery (USB-C) and the probe scanner has a an included 9v battery for operation. I have used Noyafa meters before and these kind of excellent build quality and features are something I've come to expect. Buy with confidence, it's a great little device.

Multifunctionality, accuracy, and reliability.
This network cable tester offers a comprehensive solution for testing and troubleshooting various types of cables, making it an invaluable tool for professionals and enthusiasts alike. One of its standout features is its multifunctionality, which allows me to perform a wide range of tests with ease. The built-in multimeter feature is particularly useful, allowing me to measure AC and DC voltage levels accurately. This comes in handy when diagnosing issues with power over Ethernet (PoE) setups or verifying the integrity of power sources in networking environments.Additionally, the wire tracker function simplifies the process of tracing cables, helping me identify and locate cables quickly and efficiently. Whether I'm working with CAT5, CAT6, or other Ethernet cables, this tester provides accurate results, allowing me to pinpoint any faults or discrepancies in the wiring.Another notable feature of this product is its port flashing capability, which enables me to identify active ports on switches and routers effortlessly. This feature is especially useful in large network setups where identifying specific ports can be challenging.I also appreciate the inclusion of the NVC anti-burn function, which protects the tester from damage caused by incorrect voltage detection. This adds an extra layer of safety and reliability to the device, ensuring long-term durability and peace of mind during use.In terms of usability, this network cable tester is straightforward and intuitive, with clearly labelled controls and a user-friendly interface. The compact and portable design makes it easy to carry around, allowing me to tackle cable testing tasks both in the office and in the field.Overall, I am highly satisfied with this network cable tester. Its multifunctionality, accuracy, and reliability make it an essential tool for anyone working with network infrastructure. Whether you're a professional network technician or a DIY enthusiast, I highly recommend investing in this product for efficient and effective cable testing.

Handy tool for installing network cables
Like many ethernet cable testers this unit will check for point to point connection and shorts. In addition this item will do a selection of other useful functions - see Amazon listing. One I find of great use is the ability to provide a measure of how long the cable is. Three examples: measure length of long offcuts, measure length of cable to break and provide indication of cable left on the drum (if you have boxed cable drum). Suspect that those who moaned about the length feature did not fully understand to perform the test - I found it to be reasonably accurate.

Harder than ather
I find it really hard to useAnd don't think it deserve the money that I spend on it

Excellent all round network tester/meter
I needed a backup Network tester to leave on site, and this is a suprisingly full featured tool kit that has become far more useful than keeping the network in order. For a small network install its perfect, and for monitoring and repairing a current network too. I am also finding that I use this as a general multimeter rather than getting mine in from the vehicle. It is completely automatic and has been of great use.The meter screen is clear and informative with a comfortable backlight (backlight turns off after a while, but LCD stays on).Although I use a more expensive unit, quite honestly this little kit does everything I need.

Perfect for my basic needs
I'm not an electrical engineer and more of a hobbyist with grand designs for his home network so not all of the features of the device are necessary for me but I found it to be a fairly easy to operate and useful tool in sorting out my cable runs. in the near future the POE functionality will also be very useful.the device feels well made and of decent quality.it could probably be a bit more intuitive but if you're digging into this kind of stuff you're likely not a stranger to feeling your way around things to get to the desired outcome.overall a handy tool I'm happy to give a place in my toolbag.

Highly versatile
Works on finding faults on landline phone cables. I did find it easy to use. It's useful and light, not heavy at all. Convenient and highly portable in its handy carry case.
