I'm absolutely in love with my new Midea microwave! It's sleek and modern design looks great in my kitchen, and the build quality is top-notch. It's clear that this microwave is made to last.One of the things I love most about this microwave is how easy it is to use. The controls are intuitive and straightforward, and there are a variety of pre-programmed settings for different foods. I've also been impressed with how evenly the microwave cooks food. Everything from popcorn to pizza to frozen dinners comes out perfectly heated.Another great thing about this microwave is that it's surprisingly quiet. Even when running on full power, it's barely audible. This is a major plus for me, as I often use my microwave early in the morning or late at night without disturbing my family.Finally, I want to commend Midea for their excellent shipping service. I ordered my microwave on a Monday afternoon, and it arrived at my door on Wednesday morning. A great price for a solidly built and sleek microwave. It has none of the bells & whistles of the $500 models that Consumer Reports recommends, but do you really need wi-fi control for a microwave? Controls are easy to understand and does the job of defrosting or popping corn or baking potatoes well. It is very quiet. My only criticism is that the interior and hood lights could be brighter.

This Midea 1.7 microwave does not have all the bells and whistles others have. The keypad has the basic presets, but does have the very important 30 sec. feature and the turntable off. The keypad numbers are easy to use due to the open layout and the absence of mega preset functions. Don't expect much light for the range-bulb puts out the equivalent (See Picture) of a night light. My units transformer for the magnetron hums so the unit is not super quiet. The Midea microwaves are all noted for excellent even heating. I have also installed the newer Midea 1.9 OTR model MMO19S3AST and for $60 more will run circles around this model and many of the other manufacturers higher priced models. So quiet, great LED stove light, better features, the only complaint is the the end of cycle BEEP is barely audible no matter what you set the loudness for. I know many people have never heard of Midea but it is the one of largest producers of OEM brand products in the world, so instead of the other brand names you have always loved, they are now marketing under their name. I will probably keep the 1.7 for a year and upgrade to the 1.9. They have the same mounting bracket and are interchangeable.

We had to replace our old Frigidaire over the range micro. We looked at others but stopped with this one. We already have this brand window AC and freezer so figured we'd give it a try. Nice, no frills but down to basics microwave. If fit perfectly in the space over the range. light inside and outside are adequate. No issues with this thing so far. Hope we get several years out of this. Highly recommend.

I spent $150 to have this microwave installed. Upon trying it for the first time I learned that the fan is broken, makes a terrible whirring noise and does not suck air. When the microwave itself is turned on it sounds like a jet plane taking off, and when it's turning off you can hear the motor working overtime as it winds down. After speaking with Amazon I learned that I need to uninstall the microwave myself (or have my handyman do it for another $150), box it, and get it outside for pick-up. They "agreed" to credit my account for the return of the item and an additional $50 "for my troubles." Doing the math, I'm actually out a total of $250 (installation and uninstallation), plus the time and energy to get it repacked and outside. Very, VERY displeased with Amazon's response to this mess. I'm used to much better customer service from Amazon, but sadly not this time.

The media could not be loaded. Nice size and appearance. I wish light was brighter. Easy setting for fast and quick use. Good performance.I am happy with my purchase and recommend it to anyone who is looking to purchase a microwave.
