I love this rice for a umber of reasons and they include the fact that’s it’s -Usually always reasonably pricedIt’s easy to cookSmells and tastes lovelyIt’s a perfect accomplishment to any meal.

This really is good value. Marketing determines most things and inexpensive doesn't always mean low quality and this rice proves the point. It really is as good as the other more famous brands. Why buy Basmati? Normal long grain rice sticks and if you haven't cooked it absolutely right, turns into a bit of a mash but Basmati doesn't unless you really mess it up. Basmati grows best in high altitude areas, in the North of India and Pakistan, the closer to the Himalaya, the better. Good plain boiled Basmati has a great fragrance but you can add a tiny pinch of turmeric with the water for a nice colour, or you can add a bayleaf or a cardamon pod for a bit of exotic fragrance. A good packet of Basmati rice should all be from the same area or else you will end up with different types of rice, with different cooking times which means once cooked it won't be uniform. You are safe with this brand.

Wasn't expecting much from this, but was pleasantly surprised. The taste is very nice and it cooks well.Recommended.

I have been using this rice since quiet sometime. The quality of rice is good. But not the best. " Kohinoor Basmati" rice, comes with a sainted flavor. But then this one is the cheapest available. Good value for money.

I soaked the rice, and had to go somewhere , rice were left soaked for hours, when I cooked them Later they were as good as if I have soaked them for half an hour as suggested.. absolutely happy with my purchase. You can’t find them on Asian food stores... glad I found on amazon.

I bought these rice but unfortunately they are not good at all .It’s a medium Grain ,no aroma, taste is also not great very sticky compared to other basmati rice .Not worth the price .

We love basmati rice. We eat it all the time.This has to be the best rice we have used. And to get 5kg for £6 is amazing.I have tried lots of different rices from shops own to tilda and this is by far the best.Rice is never stuck together and always tastes great. Cooks quickly and easily too.Overall We love it

Bought this last year when it was £7.99 and was really pleased with it. Nice tasting, good strong cardboard type bag that it comes in, no problems at all. Amazon delivered pretty quickly too from what i can remember and now the price is even cheaper so i will be ordering a new batch today :)
