This stuff really holds things. I mean, it REALLY holds things. They may as well be glued down, they don't move at all. Which is good when you live in earthquake country. Only use it on things you don't plan on moving, and you'll be very happy with it. Also, when applying it, it's super sticky and will leave your hands waxy and sticky. I just used a dry paper towel to wipe the residue from my hands, no washing needed. Great product!

For several years, I've been afraid to put out any breakable knick knacks because of my cats, but this year I really wanted to put my Christmas nativity set on the mantle where it could be seen and enjoyed instead of high atop the bookcase where I usually put it. This wax worked great! One of my cats walked right through the pieces and none of them moved at all! It's very easy to apply the wax and very easy to remove an object from the surface once you stick it down. It does take some effort to scrape the wax off the object and off the surface, but it wasn't that bad. My nativity set is made of resin and the mantle is finished wood; the wax did not damage either surface. Also, a little goes a very long way; I ordered 2 jars but I think it will be years before I finish the first one. I'm very pleased with this product!

Bought this for baby proofing our heavy old lamps that my strong 11 month old is always trying to pull down on top of his head. It was causing me so much stress that I turned to the internet and found a video on TikTok of a mom using this to accomplish the same task. It works well and now my baby does not even bother the lamps anymore since they aren’t fun to him now that they no longer move. If you use enough force they will still move and the wax will break off, but he hasn’t realized this and hope he never does! The only downside is the residue it leaves behind. I tried to use it on some trinkets on a shelf and when I needed to reposition one, the removal of the wax was not so great and I accidentally damaged my shelf’s coating by using rubbing alcohol on it to try to get the residue off. Furniture polish seemed to do the trick, but I didn’t want to test it further and do more damage to my shelves so I put all those trinkets away until my babies are older. So I would say, only put it somewhere where you plan on keeping the item there forever. My lamps I plan to always keep there, so it was well worth it just for those and the peace of mind it gave me.

I have lots of trinket shevels and needed to display some coins and arrowheads. This wax works perfect. You can't see it behind the object at all.

Easy to use and holds well. I have a wooden printers drawer that hangs on the wall, this was perfect for sticking items into the cubbies and not worrying about them falling out. Very secure.

Saw this product in a video and decided to give it a try for my figurines. Holy cow does it work to keep them in place without moving. Do recommend.

This product is more like stiff vaseline than museum wax. Museum wax hardens enough to hold things in position. This product smears all over the item you are trying to hold in place and is all but impossible to remove entirely, and you will want to remove it entirely. I would never allow it to contact any object of value.

Can’t wait to use on my treasures to minimise damage.
