Has anyone used this as an eye drop for dry eyes?

I use pure Vit A from a capsule for our dog's dry eye and also for chronic conjunctivitis. The product has nothing else but the oil in it and it's been safe but if this has citric acid in it, I'd check with a natural vet before using. 1 drop per eye, 2 X day solves our dogs' problems. Was recommended by our homeopathic vet.
