OXO Good Grips Garlic Peeler

This garlic peeler comes in its own plastic case. It is easy to use, removes all the skin from the garlic with just a few rolls. The benefit being you dont get smelly hands as you are not handling the garlic. Excellent product

I was a little dubious about this product, but a colleague introduced me to the item so thought i'd give it a whirl, as many cloves are small you can't be bothered with the hastle of peeling them...but gave it a whirl yesterday - fantastic, peeled the cloves really well, only put in 3 as this is recommended - yet to try more, but how many cloves do you ever need in one go - FAB!!!

Daughter reports that it is a really useful tool. Easy to use - I will be buying one as well.

Ordered these a few weeks back. Good item in that it does what it says on the tin. You have to put a fair amount of pressure on the item for the clove to be peeled. You can put about 2 cloves in at the same time. Definitely easier than using a knife! Would recommend to anyone who peels a lot of cloves!!

We bought this from a small, independent cooking shop in Leamington Spa and have found it to be very useful. It basically does what it says on the tin although you do have to get used to using it a little. You don't want to apply too much pressure or you'll crush the garlic and sometimes you have to pull some of the peel off yourself, but it's loose so it's nice and easy. The way it works is that you apply pressure to the garlic cloves while rolling it over which loosens the peel and because the utensil is made of silicone, the peel sticks to the sides. It won't work so well if it's wet as the silicone loses it's grip, of course, but that's not a problem. Overall, a great product.

It works. Not the best peeler of this type that I have used, sometimes garlic is completely peeled, sometimes not at all! If I can't find it in the drawer quickly, it is easier doing it the way I usually do.

Gave this item as a gift. Have heard back that it is "good" and "works well" with no bad things. It seems cheap and effective therefore.

Yes, it does the job it says of sorts after a little practice, but to be honest I have found it a waste of time/money and prefer my old method of giving the cloves of garlic a 'good belt' with a flat bladed knife as easier to get the skin off and doesn't need extra storage space. Although the box is useful to keep the item in it does take up valuble space. Also being arthritic I do find the rolling action needed for this item sore and a little difficult to manage so reverted to the tried and tested method of a knife blade flattened onto the garlic clove. Gave it to my daughter and her comment was another usless gadget and has since herself donated it to charity shop!

I love this little peeler. Easy to use and just rinse it under water to clean. The only thing, don't get it wet and then try to use it. It needs to be completely dry inside to adhere to the garlic peel. So far so good and I do recommend it!

Até que funciona, se estiver em um local SECO ..se foi usá-lo em cima da pia ( meu caso )que acaba molhando um pouco, ele escorrega e não funciona
