Lovely Concept & Great Gift!
I ordered this planner in an effort to help myself break down larger goals into smaller parts, which is something I’ve always struggled with from childhood & well into adulthood. I began it on January 1 and since it is a three month planner, the last day was on March 31. I appreciated how the pages were blank in the sense of being able to fill in the dates myself. There were some instructions and suggestions in the beginning of there planner to explain the different ways to use it, etc., which was helpful. The habit tracker allows you to fill in your daily goals for the month and then check off each day you accomplish each one. There is also a blank calendar you may broadly fill in for the month. Then there are individual pages for each day broken down into weeks. Each week starts off with a weekly plan of sorts and ends with a reflection of each week. The quality of the planner itself and its pages is quite nice. It’s hardcover & the pages are thick with two different colored fabric bookmarks to be able to flip back and forth from the habit tracker or monthly calendar and the individual days. I also used a combination of markers, pencil, and pen depending on the day & section. I also liked how each day has the entire day broken down on one full page on the left and the page on the right side is simply blank for notes to jot down throughout the day with an inspirational quote at the top. However, there are a few changes I would make if it were up to me:1. I work 12-hour overnight shifts. This planner is not conducive to that sort of lifestyle for a number of reasons (and I also don’t believe there is such a thing, as I searched for one after using this planner). The individual day pages in which the day is broken down into 30 minute increments begins at 6AM and stops at 9:30PM. Therefore, I only really ended up using these pages on my days off. It was essentially useless to me if I had multiple days in a row I was working. However, this is a “me” problem and probably not the case for the majority of users.2. The habit tracker: some of the goals I established were not necessarily DAILY goals. For example, I wanted to try one new recipe each WEEK. I worked around this in “x”ing out the other six days of the week once I accomplished this.3. Also, I wish the boxes in the habit tracker in which you check off each day & task were slightly larger simply so I can use stickers instead of handwriting the checks. Just a personal preference in an effort to gamify it for myself a bit.4. The monthly calendar and then the weeks + subsequent daily pages begin on Mondays instead of Sundays. I see why this makes sense for a lot of people who are M-F 9-5ers, but something about it threw me off slightly. Not a deal-breaker. Just an observation.Overall, I do love the concept and think there are probably a lot more ways in which people can customize. I don’t feel like any of those mentions are necessarily a deal-breaker on their own, but collectively ultimately lead to my reducing one star. Some of us just need to be more creative than others. I’d definitely purchase this as a gift, but I’d make sure the person lives a somewhat traditional lifestyle in the sense of their work life & sleep patterns. My therapist had me doing something similar to this in the sense of helping me track my time & where it all seems to go several years ago and I have since recommended this to her for her other patients. A tool like this is not meant to be a cure-all and/or followed in a militant way. This was the first time I’d tried something like this and am excited to try it again. I have since ordered another by another company/brand and am interested to see how it compares. The price of this one is similar to other specialty planners of this size ($30 at the time of writing this review in Beige). Overall, I’d definitely recommend as a gift to oneself or anyone else!

How have I not used one of these before?
There's no better way to conquer your ADHD than to set goals in writing for the week. This planner has inspiring notes and quotes, as well as excellent guidance (checkboxes, prompts) for writing down the things that will help you become more productive. If you prefer a little more hand-holding in gathering your thoughts together and planning your week, this is the productivity tool for you. If you prefer something a little more open-ended and "journal-y," this is a bit pricey for that. I'm going to see how I do for the next five months and if I stick with it, I'll be buying another of these because I am finding the format effective.
