I believe I got this in August, so I’ve had plenty of time to use it and see how well it worked.It works fantastic - OMG - The road to normal human feet has been a long one. I have purchased and been disappointed by way too many other products. Finally ! This one is great, so far it has held up well.I don’t know if there is some special protocol one should follow? But I just use the rough side first and follow that with the smoother side. I don’t know if that is “proper” way to use this, it just seemed to make sense and is definitely working for my feet.When I first opened the package there was a bunch of little purple pieces, kind of like crumbs, that fell out of the package. They also fell out into the shower, but after a few uses that stopped. I was worried that might be a problem. but no problems at all. Maybe just leftover from the manufacturing or shipping.My feet were pretty raggedy so at first I needed to use it nearly every shower. At least until I got my feet smooth and now I just need to use it every couple of showers. That seems to keep my feet smooth and dare I say soft… So for our house we think this is an excellent product it does what it says it will. Wewould absolutely buy it again if it ever needs to be replaced.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My Mom lives in an Arizona retirement village and I noticed all the women seem to have soft-looking non-callous feet. I asked their secret and they use this everyday in the shower. It taken less than a minute. If you are going to show your feet, please pick up one of these. Nobody wants to see your nasty, scaled, white feet.

I’ve been using these pumice bricks for years and keep one by my shower to use on the bottoms of my feet every time I’m in there. The course side can cause irritation if you’re not paying attention but other than that I thinks it’s alright.

Always the go to for disposable or "few use with care" pumice stones. I was happy to see these here I have been buying these over a decade I'm sure. It's multi textured sides. For me and I can only speak for my self first use to get rid of the toughest skin I prefer to use it dry with only lotion (any lotion I prefer a thin lotion for body not body creams or butters) I rub it on without really rubbing it into the skin then I use the softer ridge sides graduating to the toughest side (for me that's the one with the lines) I firmly rub in circles and all around left to right firm motions and up and down you want long stroke buffing all angles for at least 15-20 minutes. Rinse with baby shampoo or mild natural soap and warm water pat dry and get a pair of socks use your favorite body butter (I like tree hut ones because of the types of raw butters they use) put your socks on lounge and relax. Wait a few days to a week of normal feet cleansing in shower, then soak your feet and either use a new pumice or make sure you THROUGHLY clean with a brush , hot water and antibacterial hand soap set to dry the first one you used. But after soak grab your pumice and very gently in same motions just softer slough away the remaining callouses, dry skin ect add more body butter and socks and within 2 weeks you'd be quite surprised what a good callous removing method it is. I do this once a month or every other month if I don't you can really tell how well it was working to have stopped doing it. I have callouses, painful dry skin at times and these really come through just find the methods that work for you. I can only share how mine methods work for me. Highly highly recommend! FAR better and healthier to use this rather the more dangerous, less sanitary shavers and very harsh pumice sticks.

This pumice bar is fantastic for removing calluses off my feet! I have only been using this bar for a week and so far it has been very helpful in removing dead skin that often builds up on my heels and big toes. I love that it had both a rough side and less-rough side for smoothing. I think I should have probably spent more time using the smoother side as the skin was still a bit jagged after using. The rough side is strong and will get rid of unwanted calluses pretty fast! Be careful not to over do it. After running under warm water and applying soap to the bar, it produces a lovely lather for scrubbing. My only minor issue is that if you scrub really hard the bar begins to disintegrate a bit. For the cheap price this product really can’t be beat though! Don’t waste your time with expensive callus removers... Mr. Pumice is a great buy ~ & the fact that the lavender color matches my shower curtain is just an added bonus :)

I was going through Amazon looking for a purple stone (as in a rock) but this purple pumice bar came up as well. I’ve read other reviews saying it was the best pumice bar they’ve ever gotten and I’ve seen some where they say it flakes too easily. The price was good and I was okay with being disappointed if I didn’t like it (since it was so cheap). Once I got it I did notice that it looked like there was hot glue all over the bar. Maybe to hold the two sides together? I took off the glue and felt that it was sturdy and I was already excited to use it in the shower before I went to bed. I used it and didn’t expect to love it so easily but I loved it! There was some of it flaking off as I was using it but I expected that. I’m rough with my pumice bars and this one feels as if you don’t need to be scrubbing as hard. I instantly felt a difference in my rough heels and I didn’t expect it to do such a good job the first time. I’ve since used it two more times and I can honestly say this is the best pumice bar you will ever get!I recommend rinsing with warm water after you’re finished and shake the extra water off when you’re done. I’m storing mine on the window shelf so it doesn’t keep it wet when other people use the shower.
