On the strength of their extremely versatile and accurate and inexpensive setup blocks I decided to see if this triangle was just as awesome. Allow me to preface this by saying that I use this type of measuring/marking tool frequently. So much so that it stays in my apron. I presently own an iGauging triangle. It is a fine device as well but, unfortunately, a bit rough on my leather apron. The triangle is very thin and therefore very sharp and unfortunately tears up the apron pocket. By contrast, the triangle of this product is 1/4" thick. As a result it slips in and out of the pocket easily. The markings are accurate based on comparison to several measurement tools including dial calipers, Starrett squares, and the iGauging triangle. The bottom of the triangle provides the very useful offset base (1/4" and 3/8") to all easy marking on 3/4" stock. The bottom side of the triangle provides both imperial and metric markings. The triangle includes holes for pins (2 are included) to mark standard angles. The backside of the triangle provides marking that wrap around from the measurement on the face of the triangle. Overall it provides a variety of useful and practical measuring/marking features. In a few ways it is better than my iGauging triangle which is now retired. Finally, the triangle comes in a nice soft plastic case and includes the pins, a 0.9mm mechanical pencil, and lead. This triangle fits my needs better than the iGauging triangle -- again a very fine triangle.

This Neitra small carpenter square is solid with multiple applications. You can use this square to get accurate angles. To get the angles, you can use the included pins to mark angles from 0-90 degrees in 5 degree increments. The material used for this square is made of very sturdy and solid aluminum alloy. It has an anodized orange finish that looks very nice. The etchings on the square are easy to see and read. This square also has holes aligned with 1/16th inch lines. With these holes, you can draw parallel lines on your project. Another nice feature pertaining to this purchase is the hard plastic case that houses the product. A mechanical pencil and lead is also included along with the pins to mark the various angles. The case keeps all your products together in one location. This makes it perfect to easily place the case into your tool bag with peace of mind. After purchasing this product, I am so impressed with this company and their items. This is a top notch small carpenter square that will be wonderful when I build tiny projects like bird houses. Do keep in mind this is a small carpenter square. I have included a picture with it sitting on a 7" carpenter square so you can see the difference in size. I love the idea that it is small and compact which makes it handy when other squares are too large. After purchasing the Neitra small carpenter square, I am very pleased with this product. I rate this product 5 out of 5 stars. I highly recommend it.

Very well made square at an incredible price point. It has 5 pre-set angles of 22.5°, 30°, 45°, 60° and a host of other features. Also includes a mechanical pencil and extra leads.
