Handy for home vehicle care.
For some reason, attaching the wheels to the unit was somewhat difficult and required a mallet to bang them on. After that, using the unit was a breeze! The dryer comes with two nozzle attachments, one for large areas and one for smaller spaces and/or crevices. It is quite powerful! It rolled easily and maneuvered our cracked driveway fairly well as my dad used it, but it does have a handle for pickup and repositioning if needed. The hose is very long, which is good for tall or long vehicles. It would a very convenient gift for the DIY person. Just be sure to verify the voltage capacity of your outlet to ensure compatibility with the dryer unit prior to ordering. ALICIA APPROVED.

Takes too long to dry an entire car
To avoid water spots, it is essential that you dry the water off of your car as quickly as possible after washing, especially in the summer months. I was hoping this XPOEWER car dryer would be an effective way to quickly dry a car, but the bottom line is that it takes way too long.On the plus side, it is very well made and feels like it is quite robust. The hose expands as soon as you turn on the air flow and the caster wheels make it easy to move around your car. In general, it is easy and convenient to reach all areas of your car and it does a good job blowing water of tight spaces like body seams with high velocity airflow. Finally, it is surprisingly quiet in operation. On the down side, even with the "flat" nozzle, which is what is recommended in the instructions for drying car body panels, the air jet is just too small to effectively dry more than a 3 - 4 inch wide swath at a time. By the time you finish one panel, other panels are starting to air dry and leave spots. I have had much better results using a standard leaf blower to dry a car than I had using the XPOWER.Another disappointment is that the A-16 model does not include a heating element to heat the air. This might help overcome the limitation of the small coverage area and speed up the drying (interestingly enough, the lower priced A-12 model does include a heating element, although it has significantly lower air flow). The motor does heat the air some (you can feel the hose getting slightly warm), but not enough to make much of a difference in vehicle drying.I really wanted to like this car dryer, and I was hoping that it would be an improvement over using a leaf blower, but it in my experience, it is actually less effective. I give it 3 stars because it is well made, and I am sure that I will find other uses for it (like pet drying or blowing sawdust out of tight spaces in my workshop), but as a solution for car drying, I am afraid its a bust.

Phenomenal air flower and does an amazing job
It is a little annoying to my husband that the brakes on this car dryer blower don’t hold in place on flat surfaces, although it does well on carpet (but how many people have a carpeted shop or garage?). He has tried this on multiple surfaces and in different humidity, to try to get the most accurate and well-rounded results on things he would want to know (but would never review on his own). He said that it is nice that the blower has its own feet, so the base is not required during all tasks. He LOVES the long hose, and the electric cord is long, so he can easily reach a car in the driveway with the main unit still inside the garage with no risk of getting the unit wet or damaged. This blower does an amazing job, and the air flow is phenomenal.

Almost half as good as just using microfiber towels
I really wanted to like this. It is made quite well, so I did like it when I took it out of the box. If I were one of those reviewers who reviewed things based entirely on first impressions without ever actually using the item, this would be a five star review. Trouble for this is, I actually used it.First thing I noticed is that it doesn't blow hot air. In this price range, you'd think it would have a heating element. As it stands, it doesn't feel any more powerful than my big shop vac on blower mode. It is quieter than that thing is, but I think it moves less air.I tried using it. My wife tried using it. Several of my cousins tried using it. We all hated it. After much trial and error, we came to the conclusion that there is only one way to use it. You have to wash one panel, then dry it. You have to try your best not to get any other panels wet (good luck with that). If you do get other panels wet, they will dry in the sun before you get the first panel dry with this. I even took the car in my pole barn, put it over the drain, and tried to wash it in there. I had hoped that the lack of sun would help. Well, it did a little, but not enough. I still couldn't get everything dry with this before parts dried. In the end, we all went back to microfiber towels. This thing is currently sitting on a shelf in the pole barn, where it will probably stay until someone from a future generation finds it.
