Qinoc® - PowerVolt Camera Battery USB Charger for Sony Cyber-Shot Digital Cameras - NP-BN1 Battery Charger - 3.6V Output - Smart LCD Display

Replacing a slightly cheaper charger that had a red LED when charging that changed to green once fully charged. The trouble was that with batterry inserted the LED glowed red when it was charging AND when a poor connection meant it wasn’t. I’d left it charging overnight and still found it glowing red with a dead battery in it the next morning - not what you want if travelling and relying on a spare battery in the bag. This one has a display that shows it’s charging and only when it is charging so now I know what it’s doing. Can be run from a usb single or multiple socket usb charger (this only holds the battery and links to the power source it doesn’t convert from mains power itself so isn’t a true charger) but it’s been good, it was good value and i’m happy with the purchase.

This smart charger is superior to the original Sony product which came with the camera. The original one simply had a coloured light to tell you when charging was complete. This Qinoc has a bright display indicating the amount of charge in the battery and the rate at which it is being charged.Had I known of its existence I would not have purchased a new battery; there is nothing wrong with the old one. It had just run out of charge!

Whilst in camera charging is all that is needed in many instances and, when travelling reduces the amount of extra kit to carry However, having a dedicated charger makes for greater flexibility on occasions when many images are being recorded and the camera is in continuous use..This model seems to do everything that a standalone charger needs to do and is simple to use. Whether it is faster than other models, I cannot say, but probably not. My only gripe is selecting which way round the batter needs to go in. There are + and - marks on the battery, but those on the charger are not that easy to read as they are formed as raised symbols in body colour. They are there and can be seen when you know where to look, but until you do.......Otherwise, I can find no fault with it. Long term reliability is unknown, but I can recommend it from my own experience

Very useful device. Small light and very quick to charge. Charge level display is handy and the original mains one that came with my Sony camera did not have any display at all. Same connector as my phone so one less lead to take with me.

Arrived on time, I needed this to charge my Sony DSC W560 camera battery (NP BN1) which it did in 1 1/2 hrs, has a nice blue battery charging light which goes off when battery is full. It's small lightweight and comes in a small box with instructions and USB cable. Good value for money.

Faulty when received... contacted buyer who asked questions and agreed to change but needed to post back. The reason I bought online was lack of time in life, especially now in the pandemic I would rather just put the £10 down as wasted
