Works great.
Bought this specifically for adding more cool air into my upstairs bedroom. Can be used to help.boost heat but we sleep in cold rooms at night. Master bedroom only has one register another in closet but doesnt help much. The primary register blows cool air but room always seems to not be as cool as it should. I've tried closing a few register vents on 1st floor to push extra air up, it helped some but wanted more. Found this device. I set the cold setting on the airbrick to 64, my ac thermostat is anywhere from 70 to 68. The airbrick displays a real temp as well but the setting you choose ,(mines at 64) , will monitor the air in vent. As soon as ac kicks on the airbrick temperature drops and once hits 64 the fan turns on. This thing works good I have fan set at speed 6 or 7. I have definitely noticed the room gets cooler faster and stays cold longer so it def works. Best part is once my ac stops the air inside the register ac ducts is still cold so the fan keeps blowing basically sucking out the extra cold air that's trapped inside and blows it into the room. This thing works in my opinion cools room faster and utilizes all cold air available. Once the temp goes above 64 the brick shuts off but not long after the ac turns on so it's definitely an advantage to use to cool a bedroom.

Good product.
Draws the ac or heat with using it on the third floor. Works great for our space especially for when the grandkids stay to maintain temp and air flow.

Simple and effective
I turned two walk-in closets into a master bath. Had to reroute two registers into the new room. I was concerned about getting proper air flow, so I bought the white Airbrick. It works well. I was recently repainting a wall in our basement and flipped the furnace off so the fumes wouldn't circulate through the whole house. I forgot about the Airbrick on the second floor. I walked into that room and it smelled very strongly like primer paint. I turned the Airbrick off and flipped on the bath fan to exhaust the paint smell. THEN, later that evening, I turned our furnace fan back on but FORGOT to turn the Airbrick back on. I woke up the next morning kind of chilly. I didn't realize the Airbrick was moderating the temp for the entire upstairs! Long story to get to the point but, it just shows how effective this thing is. It's on all the time and does its thing. Looks good because I was able to route a plug-in box under the floor and it's still accessible by simply removing the Airbrick from the register opening. No power cord visible! Yay.

Didn’t receive the remote.
It was overall great. Just didn’t receive the remote, which was disappointing.

The Best AC Vent Register Booster Fan What I have had ever
I am really impressed. We used to have issues in one of our rooms, as sometimes it got very toasty in the summertime. The reason for that is the air wasn’t coming out of the air duct as it should’ve. At the same time, the floor was cold. After a few weeks of using this booster fan, All I can say is wow!! This Product is the game changer. There is such a noticeable difference after I installed it.It took me some time to configure it. That’s why I want to share my experience with others, hopefully, it will be helpful and can save some time for others. How to set:One of the most important things to understand is that this product does not measure the temperature of the room, that is the temperature of the air coming from the duct. You will need to adjust the temperature setting so it can trigger the product to turn on and off. In other words, set the lower and upper limit values. If you want to increase the temperature in your room, the fan will turn on as soon as the air in your duct is warmer than it shows on your product settings. The same happens when you want to boost cold air. The fan will detect the air temperature in the duct and when it is colder compared to the one added to your Booster fan settings, it will automatically turn the fan on.Important to understand:The booster fan will not turn ON when the temperature in your ducts is between the range of your “Coldest” and “Hottest” Settings.Cable:The cable is reversible and it comes in handy. Because you can situate it well regardless of which side the outlet is.Cons:Of course, the price of the product is one of the concerns as it is not the cheapest one, compared to similar products sold on Amazon. Moreover, I would say it is not cheap, especially if you must purchase a few fans to regulate the air temperature all over the house. However, I am ready to pay a couple of bucks more for the features like a dimmable display (especially nice to have it set in a bedroom), and reversible cable. Also, I like the way it looks.

It works but it doesn't work?
The vent does function as designed but it did not make a difference in the room temperaure for me. It only moves existing air it does not of cousre create air. To give you an example if you turn on an oscillating fan and block the intake airflow it will not blow air out of the front regardless how fast the blades are turning. So basically if you have a tightly sealed duct work it cannot create any addiional air flow other then what the HVAC system is producing. However If your system is not well sealed it should create additional air flow and help air movement. It will pull the air from the areas of the duct work that is not sealed.

Work really well
I have an office that stays much colder than the rest of the house in the winter. Up until this point I was using an electric heater to make it bearable. The addition of this booster keeps the room comfortable. It remains off until it detects warm air coming from the vent and then the fans kick on. It runs for a while after the furnace has stopped (pulling warm air from the duct) until the airflow falls below a certain temp (that you can set). I have it plugged into a smart plug (along with my lamps) so that when I leave the office for the day or weekend and turn off the lights this booster does not run at all. It works very well and is much more efficient then the electric heater.

Bad product stay away.
The temperature control was all over the place by 5 deg jumping around when heat is off causing the fan to come on and off all the time. Contacted sell but no reply.
