Concise and very good pictures!

Purchased for my 25 yr old daughter who's in Madrid for the first time, she initially said she'd never use it but arrived a couple days before her friends, texted me the first day telling me dad is always right, within the first hour she had used the metro map, then the street map to do some clothes shopping (daughters!), then used it to find a great Tapas place nearby. Purchased it used since the new one would not have arrived in time for her departure and it looks like it had never been opened, based upon my know-it-all daughter's response I would highly recommend.

This travel guide did not disappoint! Came in handy on a trip to Madrid last summer and it’s a nice reminder of a fabulous vacation.

On our recent trip to Spain, we made a lot of use of these DK Top 10 books. Beside just listing the standard tourist top 10 lists, these listed top tens and so many categories that suggested new ideas of things to explore and experience. Great basic background and helpful maps. Made our visits to Madrid and Barcelona even more enjoyable.
