Family Guy - Season 7

More adventures with likeable idiot Peter Griffin and his odd family and friends. Season 7 of Family Guy is more of the same of what you previously got on the seasons 1-6 boxsets, very politically incorrect and very funny adult animated comedy. Highlights of season 7 include Peter fighting a giant chicken in a ridiculously long and over the top and very violent and hilarious battle, Lois becoming mayor of Quahog, the small American town where the family lives, Peter discovering he's actually a Mexican illegal immigrant after making very racist and un pc comments about illegal immigrants and the highlight of this set, the 100th episode spectacular which sees baby Stewie finally delivering on his threats and killing Lois and taking over the world in a 2 part episode which includes a small crossover and cameos with characters from American Dad, one of Seth McFarlane's other adult animated comedies. Once again it's baby Stewie and dog Brian that form a great double act and steal the series and once again it's not really season 7 as such on this DVD more like volume 7. A must for Family Guy fans and best to avoid if you're easily offended. Don't make the mistake of thinking just because it's a cartoon it'll be suitable for kids, it's a 15 certificate for a reason. Family Guy has now unexpectedly taken over from The Simpsons as the best animated comedy series around with no signs of stopping with Seth McFarlane and the voice cast on great form.

I've often tried to think of something bad to say about Family Guy, but failed. You either love it or you love it and pretend to hate it. It might be absurd and even ludicrous in places, and it's been picked to pieces in South Park as being random drivel - I have to agree with that view and that's what makes it so good. It's been cancelled a few times but somehow manages to come back again every time, and now stands at 7 series. Admittedly it peaked somewhere in seasons 3 and 4 and has been gently coasting on its own notoriety ever since, so season 7 won't hold any surprises.

Great series of this modern classic animated comedy. I'm an avid collector of the family guy series' and needed only this one to have all seven, so I had high expectations of it. Needless to say, I wasn't disappointed and this series is just as good (if not better) than the other six. As it says on all of those little fliers in the DVD cases you get with Fox products it is "Must see TV". Also, Amazon were great and I received my order quickly and very well packaged as to avoid postal/courier damage. All in all 10 out of 10! Family Guy - Season 7 - Complete [DVD ]

im a huge fan of family guy and watch it all the time on tv even though they cut out the best bits, but im happy to say in season 7 all of the good stuff is there. Amazing series well they all are really and Family Guy is so much better then the Simpsons.

Family Guy is back for a seventh season (which in fact, is series 6) and features 12 episodes from the series. There's no Blue Harvest, as it was on a single release, but still, thought as this was complete it would be here. Also this isn't the full series - it's like half of series 6 in the US, which has been shown on BBC3. It's about time Fox sorted this out really, it's all gone so wrong for the best animated series on DVD. Anyway the good things, this is very very funny, all our favourites are back, Peter, with his crazy ideas, Lois, his wife who's deluded, dim Chris who doesn't seem to be with us, and over-conscious Meg who's desperate to be loved by her school peers. Brian is about the only level headed one and he's a dog - loves his booze though. There's also Stewie, the funniest in my opinion, still out to get Lois and rule the world. Some of the best episodes include the one where Joe Swanson gets his mates together to battle Peter with his robot of wheelchair users; Chris getting a job in the market; Peter fighting the chicken (again) and Meet The Quagmyres which makes me laugh every time. Some really poor moments include the 100th episode, I won't give much away but it's so boring and rather a waste of an episode, but I think Seth did that to wind us up. The packaging is excellent, each disk has it's own DVD case - and the holder in the middle doesn't let them turn in transit, so this time I was really pleased to get a DVD that wasn't scratched during delivery. Take note other box set makers, this is how you do it! The presentation does look a bit thrown together in Sonic but it's not really a biggie, the most annoying thing is the piracy messages on EVERY disk, I think just the one is enough, especially as I bought this legitimately. This is a great box set and worth your attention, but I really wish Fox would sort this out and give us a real "complete" box set with the right numbers. Can't wait for the real series 7, where we get another Family Guy movie :)

When I read some of the 1-star reviews, I felt a little uneasy about buying this. But when I watched this season, it did not disappoint. Mind you, I'm not even a hard-core Family-Guy fan --- I'm not a hard-core anything fan, I'm just not that kind of person. I rate things based on pure quality, and if you trust me, I say it again, this season won't disappoint.

Love Family Guy loads. Down side was the second disc was scratched and did not work in my dvd player or laptop, which is a shame. But this season includes loads of extras. The Family Guy Live was great. Was cool to see all the people involved and in action.

Family Guy! Enough said. Love it or hate it (& Me and my son LOVE it) there are jokes and innuendo a plenty. I Would Highly recommend this series and the ones before and after. Excellent. A MUST for All Family Guy fans.

Family Guy ist eine seit 1999 bis 2003 und wieder seit 2005 produzierte Zeichentrickserie von Seth MacFarlane. In den USA läuft die Serie wie die Simspons auf Fox, in Deutschland läuft die Serie Samstags Vormittags auf ProSieben und unter der Woche am Abend auf Comedy Central. Die Serie beschribt das Leben der Familie Griffin. Ein Markenzeichen der Serie ist die übertriebende Darstellung von alltäglichen und normalen Problemen sowie der oft sehr gewagte grenzwertige Humor. Die Familie besteht aus den Familienmitgliedern Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris und Stewie sowie Brian der eine Hund ist, meistens aber wie ein Mensch behandelt wird und sich auch mit allen normal unterhalten kann. Genauso wie Stewie, der eigentlich ein Baby ist sich aber ebenfalls unterhalten kann allerdings meistens nur mit Brian und im Umgang mit diesem sich auch nicht wie ein normales Baby benimmt. Ich habe lange gebraucht bis ich mich an die Serie gewöhnt hatte, was aber auch daran liegen mag, dass die Serie in Deutschand früher nur Vormittags bei ProSieben zu sehen war. Die neuen Staffeln und die aktuellen gefallen mir wirklich gut. Wie die Folgen auf Volume 7. Was hier als Season 7 verkauft wird, hat eher weniger mit der siebten Staffel zu tun. Auf 3 DVDs bekommt man 12 Folgen, die sich aus den letzten 5 Folgen der fünften Staffel sowie den ersten sieben Folgen der sechsten Staffel zusammen setzt. Allerdings ohne Blue Harvest. Zu den Extras gehören u.a. Audiokommentare zu jeder Folge, entfallene Szenen, einem Special zur 100. Folge von Family Guy, einem Making Of der 100. Episode, Family Guy Live - ... und vielen weiteren Extras. Insgesamt über drei Stunden. Bei den Folgen sind natürlich die beiden Folgen "Stewie killt Lois" & "Lois killt Stewie" zu nennen. Die eigentliche Doppelfolge, erstere ist die 100. Episode, greift ein Thema auf das gerade zu Beginn der Serie immer wieder Thema war. Der Versuch von Stewie Lois umzubringen und die Weltherrschaft zu ergreifen. In einem Gastauftritt ist im zweiten Teil u.a. Stan aus American Dad zu sehen. Ich verstehe zwar nicht wieso man nicht einfach die Folgen der einzelnen Staffeln jeweils auf DVD herausbringt, muss aber auch zugeben wenn ich das nicht selbst gelesen hätte, dass ich es nicht bemerkt hätte. So werde ich mir auch die weiteren DVD Veröffentlichungen von Family Guy zulegen und freue mich auf immer neue Folgen einer tollen Zeichentrickserie die genau wie viele andere Serien einfach gut unterhält und Spaß macht.
