This is a fantastic product, awesome recording quality, MONO recording, works perfectly, but manufacturing design has 2 defects which make it slightly difficult to use the product if using it too much and too frequently. The button to start and end recording is too small and too tight to slide. If you do not have fingernails, then it will be difficult to slide it. I am using it to record videos for youtube, and speaking errors happen and I have to restart again. Sliding the button repeatedly is becoming a problem. I fear I might end up breaking the button. If you are not sliding the button repeatedly, then it is fine. Next, if you leave the button at turned on position, plug the device in USB and then pull it out to start recording, the recording will be like a tape recorder running very very fast, basically not useable. You will need to slide the button and then record again, so leaving the button at the turned on position is not an option. Finally, you cannot record while the device is plugged in the USB slot, you must take it out of the slot to record, this is sort of practical since you don't want the device to fill space while you are transfering files, but if there could be a setting in the manifest (MRECSET.txt) file that can turn on or off the recording while it is plugged in the USB, then this would have been a greater than fantastic device. A tiny EXE file that can start or stop recording while the device is plugged in the USB is also fine. If manufacturers can please make these changes, I will be happy to order a new device with the new changes done. I really liked this device, the recording quality, the simplicity, all of it, except the tiny button problem and no way to record while the device is plugged in the USB. I will continue to use it for now, until a new better version comes out, if it ever does. All in all it is a good product for now, I have given it a 5 star rating.

Very good device and easy to use.. convenient to hang around the neck and record. Bought this for my father in law who wanted to record his creative thoughts as he does his morning walks..!! Good sound recording clarity and very easy to store on laptop, just like using an usb pen drive. The media plays on VLC player and not on windows media player. If they could put a installable free media player which can play the recordings, would be a good value addition.. Thanks for a wonderful product

It's a wastage.... It works for 5 6 days and then completely stops working. Kindly look for other options to buy

I just bought it today and till now it is working very well. The packaging is poor, there is no clear instructions and worst of all the website it recommends for the customer to get in touch with, does not appear to exist anymore. Consequently I cannot reset the time at all. I welcome help from any person to do this.
