Washing in warm water is fine, just don't use fabric softener (never with polyester/synthetic). Also, avoid drying on high heat as this can fry the polyester and make the shirt feel rough and crinkly.

Yes, it's a true turtleneck that folds. It's great. It might fit tight on a man, though. I'm a 5'4" female and I ordered a large. A little long... but it fits great. Soft too.

I'm 5'7 155lb should I get medium?

It's true to size. Classic fit and I'm 6'2. Wasn't snug, wasn't sloppy. Perfect fit. So whatever size you normally buy, I suggest that. Hope that helps!
