I was very lucky to find this cable as its been 20 years since I bought the radio and was fortunate to now have a laptop to connect to it. Following the directions on the laptop software and the some help, I was able to connect up and now we are set. So happy.

Worked perfect for programming and rig control of a ICOM IC-7000.No issues with drivers for Windows 7 or 10.Programmed via CHIRP and rig control via Ham Radio Deluxe.

This cable is well made and probably for some it will work. When you goto device Managet to find the Com Port of the new device it says, “Not supported on Windows 11 or later”. I will be returning this and trying a different cable.

It was working for two months, now it's not. Good thing that I had another one, different suppler, different brand that works. Beyond the return window.My logging software will send the commands to read my Icom and will get the data returned sometime. It will also send commands to change frequency and mode, but only part of the commands get through and changes only the mode. Swapped out with my good one that works perfectly. Time to buy the model that works.

Plugged this into an old Icom 737 and it worked perfectly (after downloading the drivers of course) on my Windows 10 machine. Could use Ham Radio Deluxe, other software without any issues to digitally read and control the radio. Great!

Could not get the device to work with Windows 11.
