I find the free or really cheap stir sticks frustrating, they break and are too short causing me to make an unnecessary mess. Have used the cheap sticks all of my life because that’s what Dad did when we bought paint and I saw no reason to change.I have been doing a lot of painting and epoxy projects lately and decided to buy a better stir stick I am getting too old to screw around and have no patience for making projects messy or more complicated especially over a paint stir stick.Opened these stir sticks and all I could say was wow.. why have I been wasting my time and effort on cheap stir sticks. The finish on this stir stick is perfect and leaves no debris in the paint or epoxy. The sticks do not break when mixing epoxy and have a long enough length to allow me to mix without getting my hands in the paint or epoxy.Do yourself a favor and try a real paint stir stick, I will be ordering more when I use these up.

I more often that not forget to get stir sticks at the paint store so I bought these for those times when I need them and don't have them. I'd prefer to use the free ones from the store because they're, well, free...that being said these seem like a great value! They are finished like a giant tongue depressor, smooth to the touch on all surfaces and edges, and completely uniform in size and appearance. I'm using them as backup paint stir sticks, but I would think you could use these for some kind of craft project if needed. For what I use them for an absolute great value. Night and day difference in quality from the cheapo free paint store stir sticks. Definitely recommend.

These are really great. Good quality, no splinters or imperfections that catch on your skin. Very durable! I'm glad I bought these instead of wasting my money on the cheap stir sticks in the paint department. Those would always leave little wood fragments in the paint or give me a splinter. And I swear these really did seem to do a better job mixing! Definitely ordering these again if I need more.

Paint stores don't hand out enough paint stirrers for my work. I open/reopen paint cans frequently, and after a few times of rinsing and reusing stirrers they become useless. I purchased these stirrers, and I am very pleased. They are every bit as sturdy (maybe even a bit better) than the ones the paint stores hand out. I use a lot of chalk-style paint, which can be very thick, and these stirrers get the job done.

I had no idea that these paint stirrers were sealed with a clear sealer. Nice. Very easy cleanup when using latex paint for multiple reuses. Definitely recommend.

I am using these to help organize my embroidery thread...buy glueing golf tees to the sticks. Since the sticks are slightly curved, these are not perfectly suited for this application....but I needed 14" sticks so the trimmed sticks would have a uniform width for most of the length of the finished application.

Strong no splitters will buy again.
