Planting a Paradise: A year of pots and pollinators

If you have to work with a lot of containers you need to read this book; following on from Arthur’s last book, which was also a must-buy for container-gardening for flowers, this book also reads as though you can hear his voice speaking the words to you. It’s a lovely style, very relatable to anyone reading as a gardener, novice or experienced, with stunning photography. It has lots more of Arthur’s personal experience as he’s a fully hands-on, passionate gardener, so you will want to read every paragraph from start to finish. Some sections I’ve read and instantly re-read because there’s so much information included and I want to make sure I capture the bits that are important to me and put them in my Gardening A-Z notebook so I don’t forget any of them!!Fabulous design, too, it’s absolutely beautiful! I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s also a manageable size for reading anywhere - just make sure you have some post-its and a pen handy to either mark important pages or to capture the bits you don’t want to forget! Enjoy!

Love this, inspiring and just beautiful photos

I have all his books and this one doesn't disappoint. It goes into great depth about how to plant and what /when to plant throughout the year and what with what. Like all of Arthurs books, the imagery is beautiful and inspiring, but this one goes above and beyond with a wealth of extra information. I especially appreciated the chapter about dealing with squirrels ! It is not a repeat of any of his other books, all are very different.Thank you for another fabulous book Arthur, that is sure to be used all the time, throughout the year- A +P.S. This would make a lovely gift too .

What a beautifully produced book. I was instantly captivated by the lovely photography and the author's writing style.I had to read it with my notebook to hand...and cannot wait to add to our pots of fabulous colour next year.

Arthur has the gift of Clarity and sheer poetry in his use of Colour. He is gifted and I am inspired by his love for birds, bees and butterflies in terms of the varieties of flowers chosen. My garden will undergo the Arthur paradigm shift next spring. Best book ever!!!
