The Flying Sewing Machine

I only wish this book was around when my children were little, but even though they're teenagers now I couldn't resist buying this for myself! I grew up watching Sewing with Nancy on PBS. As a children's book, this is geared towards toddlers. It is short enough to keep they're attention, and the rhyming verses are cute. Illustrations are adorable too!

I bought many copies of this book to share with my quilting friends and favorite quilt shops as a tribute to the author, Nancy Zieman, who passed away in November 2017. It's a cute story for adults and kids.

An imaginative and pleasurable book for quilters to enjoy with children and grandchildren. The Main characters are girls though and I wish a boy could also have been included in the storyline. I enjoy books for children where main characters are diverse. For me, that was the one drawback but the book is still delightful.

A lovely story about sewing, it is written for children but any one who loves sewing will enjoy it, I bought it for myself, not for my grandchildren.

A really cute story book from an amazing woman who will be missed.

I think all sewists would love to live in Sewland! A wonderful place where all are encouraged to sew daily.

I bought this to remind me of Nancy (R.I.P.). Turns out it's a lovely little book and a wonderful gift for any little girl or any woman who is a fan of the late amazing Nancy Ziemann. She will be sorely missed. Prayers to her family. God bless you Nancy!
