Get the job done clean and easy
The media could not be loaded. I bought 50 feet 3/8 inch unit exactly 2 years ago. Among all other size choices this is the only one owned and sold by Amazon, one of the two reasons I picked this option as Amazon offered me Amazon Monthly Payment as one of the many installments payment options. There is a simple 0 cost with Amazon Monthly Payment, a kind of no brainer.A big reason for me to give a five star is its actual test today. My house lot is plat. The sewage pipe coming out of the house into the septic tank does not have much slope so it becomes a common section to get clogged over time. I used to use a hand drill driven stationary drain cleaner and it did get the job done but in a very messy way. I had to use hands holding the cable to guide it and retract it manually. The cable got twisted easily. As a home owner I became a seasoned drain cleaner as I had to unclog the pipe quite regularly. I bought this machine in a hope to make the job easier. This morning I heard bubbling noise in my up stair toilet, a clear sign of trapped air in the sewage line. I put this machine in use. Without instruction manual (being sitting there for two years) I was able to figure out the operation by coming back to the Amazon page watching product videos. The result was amazingly easy and clean. I had my glovers on but I didn't have to touch the cable at all. The machine worked its way into the clogged pipe slowly and surely, unclogging the pipe in a matter of minutes. Rewinding the cable was easy without any touches to the cable. The job site is back to clean state. The handle on the front serves as a convenient clutch to change between forward and backward without stopping the motor. In terms of power and size, this machine is adequate to my single house with a 4 inch PVC pipe about 50 feet long. I am not aware of any difficulty moving it due to weight as it has two wheels with a pushing handle, easy to move around. As a home owner I am very happy with this machine.

Works great.
I was a bit concerned based on other peoples reviews however mine worked great. Solved the clogged sewer drain issue easily. Well worth the money vs hiring a professional plumber that costs more and tries to upsell.

Unhappy 🙁
Binding up inside drum every time I use it,I was going slow so it wouldn't bind it, wont move forward, but reverse easily move, the head broke off somewhere, I bought the 3/4 100ft one. I was happy when I bought it,tried to save money from calling the reamer. It took about 4hour trying to fix the machine, on a 60 ft straight clog bind up for I got there. It was a waste of 8 hours 😑 😒 thanks for that.

Challenging in Many Ways
I bought the 3/4" model because my sewer problem is always the main line to the street. The unit arrived more quickly than scheduled. It was nicely packed though the frame which accepts the handle was damaged but could be bent back with pliers. With no damage to the packing it must have left the factory that way. The assembly instructions were incomplete, The larger lock washers went somewhere on the wheels but I've never figured out where the shorter bolts and lock washers go.The unit weighs 180 lbs (!!!) and though I'm 71 the machine and I made it down the basement stairs. There are some videos online which can give a bit more confidence in using the machine but the most important fact is in the instructions: keep one hand on the cable and the other on the direction lever. Once you hit an obstruction the cable starts flopping and kinking and within seconds and you need to throw it in reverse (with the lever, not the switch) or the cable will become an angry, flopping, knotting piece of steel. The first time this happened the cable pulled the glove (WEAR HEAVY GLOVES!) off my hand with the glove finger tapped in the knotted cable. It would have been very serious for my finger.I bought the 2" clog chopper because in one of the videos one of the supplied tools broke in the pipe on the first use. Even with the clog chopper roots stopped progress and it was necessary to quickly back up and attack again and again. The most frustrating part was that it appeared the cable was moving forward but in fact it wasn't. Since the cable is spinning it looks and feels like it's going in but it seemed common for progress to stop without any indication. I think the cable becomes disorganized in the drum. The reverse switch seems to be the solution. A few seconds in reverse and the cable tidied itself. I found doing this every once in a while seemed to help. I was afraid the clog chopper would wear a hole in the pipe during these subtile pauses. It took a few hours the get the cable through as far as it seemed to go. The main is open and I plan to do this a time or two a year to keep on top of the roots and it will hopefully be easier that way.I think if you're dealing with your main drain line the smaller cable would be pure frustration and you'd probably ruin the cable. The 3/4" is an expensive monster but for roots it's probably worth it. You may not want to spend the money but I think the sewer guy I used had at least a one inch cable so I think bigger is really necessary for this job.

Mush better than Battery Operated Drain Snakes
I purchased battery-operated drain snakes in the past, but the only reach 25 feet. This one is only twice the price of a battery-operated one. Plus you get the advantages of 50 foot reach and being able to choose different cutter heads to unblock and clear a 3 to 4 inch drain. A simple auger head may unblock a pipe by boring a hole thru the blockage, but then you have a 'slow' drain and the potential of future blockage. I really like the forward and reverse head that make this one easy to use AFTER you view the Youtube videos on how to operate it. Note that while it sound good to have a machine with a 100 foot reach, the motors on those may not have enough power to twist that distance.

Decent, for the price
If you've ever worked drain cleaning you'll know this machine isn't heavy duty. It failed to actually pull the cable out after the clog cleared. Nice little lat and delta workout to pull it out manually. If your properties have trees where the main line runs this will save you in drain cleaning and help postpone replacement

Well worth the money.
This is a great machine. Clears sewer clogs and roots with plenty of power to spare. Heavy built and easy to use.
