My son uses it for both outfield and infield on 2 different teams. He has a good one for outfield but likes this one better. The leather is a much better quality than most other gloves but that does mean a longer break-in period. If you are willing to be paitent with the break-in, then this is a top tier glove, especially if you can get a deal on it.
