Effective Toothpaste
I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and I really like it. The taste is super clean and not overly sweet or minty like some other natural toothpastes. It leaves my mouth feeling fresh and I’ve actually noticed my teeth looking a bit brighter since I started using it.I like that it uses nano hydroxyapatite instead of fluoride which I’ve been trying to avoid. My teeth feel smooth and I haven’t had any sensitivity which I sometimes get with whitening products. It’s a little more expensive, but the ingredients and quality feel worth it. Definitely planning to stick with this.

Love boka, but not this flavor
First of all, let me start with the most important thing- if you’re considering switching to a nano hydroxyapatite toothpaste, you’ve already waited too long IMO. I have had extremely sensitive teeth since childhood (think having to curl your lips over your front teeth when you drink a glass of room temp water) and have used a sensitivity, toothpaste, almost as long, with minimal help I found this toothpaste a few years ago when n-Ha was just becoming a thing over here in the US and within a month or two my sensitivity was probably 70% improved, and while I still have a small amount of sensitivity, I’d say at this point it is probably 80 to 90% better- I almost never even notice it anymore.I never had any issues with cavities or anything like that, but I fully believe that it is re-mineralizing and would help someone who is prone to cavities and other things. The added bonus is that while I use whitening strips every now and then, it’s been over a year since the last time I whitened my teeth, and my friends still comment about how white my teeth look, despite being a daily coffee drinker for the last seven years.I’ve tried multiple flavors of Boka and my only qualm is that my favorite flavor so far was only seasonal and is no longer available, which was the cherry blossom (if anyone from the Boca company is reading this, this is an official request for you to please bring that flavor back and keep it!) so I’ll describe the other flavors in more detail:Ela Mint: this was the companies first flavor they came out with as far as I’m aware, and I initially liked it a lot when switching from a regular toothpaste as I still wanted to have that minty fresh taste in my mouth, but this is way more mild than normal toothpaste. It’s just a gentle hint of mint. Very nice if you’re just switching over from a mint toothpaste and are also worried about your mouth not feeling fresh enough.Lemon lavender: I no longer care for a mint flavor and I really like this. It is not tart in any way and tastes more like a lemon custard or lemon yogurt, pretty sweet as well. I don’t really get any notes of lavender when I use it and though lavender should be used sparingly so it doesn’t taste soapy, I would appreciate just a little bit more of the lavender flavor to actually call it lemon lavender. Right now it’s more like the Yoplait lemon yogurtStrawberry basil: I just got this flavor today and I almost considered knocking my review down one Star because of it. When I first put the toothbrush in my mouth, I just got a strong taste of basil and hardly any strawberry. The strawberry came out a little more as I continued to brush, but the basil is just overpowering, and I am not a fan in any way. I ordered the strawberry mango kids toothpaste for my child and I am looking forward to that one when it comes in, glad I ordered a three pack as I think that will be more promising since I like both strawberry and mango flavors on their own, and I may steal one of those tubes for myselfOverall: there are so many flavors to try out so you’ll probably find one you like and regardless, this is just short of a miracle product for your teeth. I can’t recommend this toothpaste enough. (But please I do hope the flavors either get tweaked or they bring back the cherry blossom soon!)

This toothpaste works!
My dentist told me about this type of toothpaste. I had never heard of it before. Since I was having some sensitivity, he said to give this type of toothpaste a try. I looked on Amazon to see what they had, and I decided on this brand. The price point was decent. I purchased the Ela Mint flavor and was a little nervous how this would taste since it said it had green tea and a hint of cardamom. I actually found it to be nice and minty. No weird taste, just a nice mint flavor. I thought it was weird that you were to use it with no water, but after a couple of brushings, I am use it and it is really no issue. My teeth feel nice and clean, breath feels fresh, and my sensitivity issue is less. It's not completely gone but I do see a difference. I am hoping with longer usage of this toothpaste, I will see even less sensitivity.

Feel fresh but doesn’t foam. Natural ingredients 👍🏼(updated review after 2 week)
6.16.2025First of all, it feels little bit weird while brushing my teeth with it because it isn’t foaming. But tastes very light. It gives a regular toothpaste effect very well. That means it’s natural. It cleans teeth well also. I feel fresh and clean after using it. Its tube looks bigger but toothpaste inside not filled thoroughly when comparing the tube to what’s inside of it. Color is almost gray. I looked up the ingredients. Nothing is wrong with that. Everything is natural. I’ll share it ingredients here with a pic. I have been using it for about 2 days. Haven’t seen any noticeable improvement. I’ll update it next week or so. Overall, I like everything about this toothpaste.Update : 6.27.2025I used it for 2 weeks for every day. I changed from 5 star to 4 star because it’s not mineralizing the teeth. It’s whitening them but no mineralization unfortunately as promised. I guess other ingredients are abrasive enough so that they eliminate nano hydroxyapatite use for mineralization. For that reason, it’s great for white teeth but doesn’t help fortify enamel.

Flavors and Preferences
The science behind why we purchased this, fluoride free as well as enamel support, are undeniable so my review is more about preference between the flavors. We first bought the Uzu mint because of the properties surrounding charcoal to enhance whitening but the mint flavor is very light. It doesn’t feel minty fresh which is what we prefer in a toothpaste. We then tried the Ela mint which offered much more of a refreshing and mint flavor but did not emphasize whitening as much. We feel like the Refresh mint is the perfect happy medium. Not only does it emphasize and highlight whitening but it has a decently strong and refreshing mint flavor and aftertaste as well as the added bonus of more froth and suds. The others seemed sort of light in that department.
