Superb cameras. We have 5 and bought a 6th.Pros:-1. Clear images2. Reliable motion detection3. Short cables can be replaced with longer ones from Amazon4. Adjustable camera image i.e. you can turn the camera upside down and flip the image.5. Full colour or black & white available4. User friendly - both app and camera functions. Easily adjustable.Cons:-1. the lead is chunky and can’t be removed if you don’t need them for outdoors connection. We only use one portion of the power lead and the other unused part has to be pinned out of sight. Not an issue for us because we use them indoors and pointing through windows.2. Short power supply cables (replaceable).3. The back of the memory card compartment is difficult to remove and the screws can get stuck. Be very careful when first removing them and needs replacement ones with stronger screw tops or the tops will wear down after a few turns and you’ll struggle to get the screws out.4. Mic feedback if close to the cameras. Just make sure you’re not near when testing the mic or looking at footage.

These are good value cameras, easy to install and setup with some great features. Have to option of using stand alone or with their cloud service. Have plenty of storageusing 512Gb micro SD. The image quality is good and so is the sound, does a great job of recording the bird song in the garden. Detection modes are ok but it occasionally misses things, possibly due to the size within the frame. Hopefully they will continue to improve with firmware updates.

Definitely the best camera I have had to date. The app for it is really good, plenty of different settings to configure for your use.Lost 1 star because the one camera occasionally drops out and it does have signal when it's back up online.

Having purchased one to try out I have now ordered another. The video is very clear at 2K. The Ai ability is very sophisticated able to differentiate between general movement, animals & people. Easy to set up & the software is nag free! Unlike the YI IoT system I have replaced. Storage capacity is massive with a 512Gb (purchase separately) with loop recording. I highly recommend this.

Great quality camera with sharp 4MP video and smooth 360° coverage. For the price, it’s excellent value. Wi-Fi range is strong, but it also has an Ethernet port if needed. Plenty of mounting options make installation easy, and it works perfectly in the Tapo app. Very impressed overall.

Great cctv ip camera with pan and tilt with object tracking.Image quality is good and as expected.Installation is easy and it just works.Plenty of useful settings available.Very easy to add to your Tapo app, especially if you already have the app.Just connect the included power supply and WiFi, and it is up and working in minutes.I have purchased more tapo cctv ip cameras of different types and they are all very easy to install and work perfectly.I have now replaced 2 hard wired dvr cctv systems (home and business) with tapo cctv cameras.Very happy with the cameras, ease of installation, image quality and the Tapo app.The only extra needed if you want to record and playback later, is a micro sd memory card.There is no need to subscribe or pay for anything to remotely view or playback recorded footage. However they do offer a cloud based service at a reasonable price if you want this option, but it is not required.As said I am am very happy and would definitely recommend tapo cctv cameras from my experience.This is a genuine review for the camera purchased by me.

The camera is very high quality and extremely easy to install.This is the fourth Tapo camera I’ve bought for my home, and just like the others, I’m very satisfied.However, the quality of this one is even better excellent night vision and great speed.Overall, another impressive product from Tapo

Originally bought the C225 indoor camera to keep an eye on our dog and was very impressed with the whole Tapo system. I managed to get the C520WS when they were in the sale for £59.99 and brought 3 to cover the whole outside.I fitted them with SanDisk Ultra 512gb memory cards that should cover about 25 day when constantly recording 24/7 before overwriting themself.They all connected to my WiFi with no issues but I did lower the quality of 1 down to 720p as the signal was struggling at times when set to 2K.There are so many setting to cover all needs and did take a day to work out so you don’t get too many false alerts, blushes blowing in the wind and stuff like that. I did also find that rain at night sets off the motion sensor and the camera tries to track it and I turned off motion sensor but left on person, pets and vehicle tracking and it works perfect.There is a great feature where to can set different viewing angles and save them so rather then adjusting the camera each time you can just press a saved position and it will move to it quickly.The camera does a great job tracking and following people and vehicles when they come into shot and when they leave the camera will return to its original position before it started tracking.You might pay a little more for the Tapo C520WS but the whole system just works perfectly and with it being under the well known TP Link brand you know it’s going to be good quality.1 bit of advice I found out that was useful, when you watch a recording and you want to more forward or back slightly you can pinch the timeline with 2 fingers and expand it to make it bigger which makes it easier to make small movements back and forth.
