Samsung Galaxy Note 9 128GB Dual SIM Ocean Blue

Not the latest Note but top quality Android10 phone at a decent price. I went from a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (which I loved but was getting slow after about 5 years) to Moto G4 plus (pretty good but starting to slow and run out of space) to this a year ago. I just love having a Samsung again and especially a Note, I use the pen frequently for DIY drawings and things to remember. It's still so fast and loads of memory free. Seems to pick up wifi and phone mast signals better than wife's Samsung A71 (though photos seem slightly more "colourful" on the A71). Fingerprint reader and face recog are fast and consistent. Love the wireless charging, NFC, headphone jack, SD card slot. Excellent call quality. My daughter went from Moto G5 to this a couple of months ago and absolutely loves it. She had wanted a smaller screen phone (has v small hands) but manages the bigger screen and can't put it down.

I don't want to speak too soon however my experience so far has been too class. My device came the next day which was a day earlier than expected. I was a bit dubious about the device because it was really cheap compared to other websites. However when it came it was all sealed and in a brand new condition. I have had a couple of Samsung phones before however moved away to another brand for 6 months before cutting my losses and moving back to Samsung. This was the 1st Galaxy Note I've owned and I love it. Highly recommend. The new One UI interface is brilliant compared to the old TouchWiz that they used before. Overall I highly recommend this and don't be put off my the cheap price, so far I've found it to be nothing other than genuine!

I adore the Galaxy Note series. My Note 8 has a cracked screen and is out of warranty. I originally planned to get another Note 8 as I'm nowhere near a Samsung repair place (and a new screen would cost almost as much as the Note 8 now that the Note 10 is out) but I decided to pay a little bit extra and go for the upgrade to the Note 9. Just after I did, the news came out that they weren't rolling out Android 10 to the Note 8, so I was even more delighted. I nearly splashed out on the Note 10, but in reality this more than meets my needs. I'm able to stream films to my heart's content, and use social media. The phone is almost the same overall size and weight as the Note 8, but the screen appears bigger. The battery life is much better, and it recharges quickly. The camera is superb, especially in low light, which is an improvement. I really like the stylus, though I get a bit annoyed when it "runs out of juice" even though I'm just using it to tap and scroll - it doesn't actually need battery for these functions, so I get annoyed by the notification. It does recharge very quickly. Fingerprint sensor is much better than on the Note 8, and is in a better location below the camera rather than beside it, so fewer instructions to clean the lens!! Overall, I think it is fabulous!

If like me you want to be an ex-iPhone user, 15+ years for me and iPhones, then you would be advised not to purchase the Note 9. The Bixby button on the side is dreadful, Bixby irritates the hell out of me and will probably you as well, whilst sitting in your pocket or purse it will start to phone your contacts, suddenly the Brightness goes from Bright to Dark, it seems to need constant and varying control by the user and yet there is something worse than all of the above. The 4G does not work correctly. Traveling exacerbates the situation, as you go from cell to cell 4G does not work at all until stationary, sitting in a traffic jam on the M5. Additionally, Bluetooth does not work correctly & when using speakerphone for phone calls it clicks out constantly so you can't hear your caller. Wish I saved my money and bought an iPhone. Be warned.

The mobile is first class, two wee concerns being. 1. After signing the postman’s delivery book I went into kitchen to open envelope. Inside the box had a seal Stating do not sign for if this seal is broken, I was Not given this opportunity to examine box. Thankful the seal was perfect, but what would have happened had it been broken. 2. I can’t read French, I had to download English instructions. I must add so far I’m very happy with my new mobile. I hope these are fair comments. PS. It would be handy to have the companies telephone number or email address Amazon could not even provide me with this information.

I love this phone. I had the S9+ because the note wasn't out at the time when my phone died. Now I have it I am extremely pleased with my purchase. As a child I always had mud on my face and a notepad in my pocket, I grew up scribbling things down and drawing up ideas for wild projects, so the S-Pen is a welcomed addition to what basically is the S9+. I purchased the 512gb version, I am a heavy PC user, immediately I put a lot of music and favourite videos filling up 100gb day one, so I can absolutely justify getting the bigger version. The note taking is great, I love the S-Pen, the battery is good, but if you have the always on display to see your on display notes, it drains the battery a lot. I was using it at first, but I have had to turn it off. Unlocking the phone to see pinned notes is good enough. I've had no issues with the phone, it runs perfectly, it's fast and fluid. I absolutely love this device, almost all the video reviews on youtube agree that it is a fantastic phone.

As a Samsung Galaxy Note fan, I can only say good words for this device. Android at its best. I received the phone super quickly, sealed, in excellent condition. Thank you!

C'est un appareil ,qui pour moi, est parfait. Répond à toutes mes attentes . Grâce à sa connectivité en wifi bluetooth etc et quelques application téléchargée je l'utilise en priorité comme lecteur de chansons et en tv. Il me sert aussi ,grâce à Internet de gérer mes comptes. Très bel écran, avec une sonorité grâce a ses deux hp , excellente. Son prix est conséquent certe mais sa qualité ,est à mon avis , le justifie. Je ne regrette pas cet achat et le recommande.

Ce smartphone est, d'après moi, le plus beau smartphone du moment, et probablement le plus puissant aussi. Il est magnifique, c'est un vrai joyau. Tout est fluide, il a une autonomie vraiment appréciable (alors que je l'utilise de manière intensive). et j'ai pris l'habitude de prendre des notes au S-Pen : c'est très pratique et si je devais changer de smartphone, ça me manquerait.

It's good so far. Everything seems to work well. The seller said it will arrive abit late but it just arrived at the period that I was told.. So.. Punctual The battery lasts quite long. For a normal use, from 100 to 40 in 10 hours. I haven't used for video, movie or game much. But still good so far. One thing that I don't like is the finger print is on the back side. I used Note 5 and it is much more practical to scan finger print at the front screen with thumb. Cause when it 's on the table, then you have to pick it up and climb your index finger to the patch. This is the European version. You have to activate it with euro sim before use the sim from the other regions, in case you have the second sim. and it's not possible to add the micro SD card together with the second SIM, FYI

A inizio agosto Samsung ha presentato il Galaxy Note 9 e, nonostante sia passato ormai un po’ di tempo dalla commercializzazione, direi che è arrivato anche il nostro momento di recensire il Re dei pesi massimi. Note 9 Un design vincente non si cambia Dal punto di vista estetico il concept non è assolutamente cambiato rispetto agli ultimi anni. Vetro curvo sui bordi sia davanti che dietro, con frame in alluminio nel mezzo. Sono i dettagli che però cambiano. Come su S9, la cornice non è più allineata con il vetro, in modo da offrire un maggior grip, mentre sul retro il sensore per le impronte è dove sarebbe dovuto sempre stare. Posizionandosi al centro é più facilmente raggiungibile, lasciando i vari sensori biometrici in fianco alla doppia cam posteriore. Il fatto che non ci siano “enormi” cambiamenti non significa però che non si tratti di un dispositivo curato nei dettagli. La sensazione in mano è sempre quella di un dispositivo di un certo valore, solido e ben assemblato. Ovviamente, viste le dimensioni, non è un prodotto molto maneggevole e difficilmente lo si può usare con una sola mano. Per concludere il tour estetico, degna di nota è la perseveranza di Samsung nel mantenere l’ingresso del jack audio, ma allo stesso tempo continua purtroppo anche a perseverare con il tasto Bixby. La S-Pen è il vero plus… Note 9Andando però subito al sodo, la S-Pen è l’elemento hardware che si è aggiornato maggiormente. La penna di Note 9 diventa infatti bluetooth, offrendo oltre alle solite funzionalità, anche la possibilità di gestire da remoto alcune funzioni tramite il tasto posizionato su di essa. Potremo infatti andare a configurare varie azioni all’interno delle app e l’apertura di una di queste andando a premere a lungo il tasto della S-Pen. Dal punto di vista funzionale, rimane sempre uno spettacolo, con una precisione e un realismo nella scrittura che sorprendono sempre. Per come utilizzo io lo smartphone, non è nulla di fondamentale, ma avendola a disposizione, mi è risultata molto utile per appunti rapidi, ritagliare immagini e evidenziare testi. Diventando bluetooth insorge però la problematica del ricaricarla. Problematica che non sussiste, dato che con 40 secondi nel suo alloggiamento si ricarica per almeno 40 minuti di utilizzo. Peccato che la versione di Note 9 in mio possesso fosse quella nera, in quanto in quella Ocean Blu, la S-Pen è di un tamarrissimo colore giallo. Samsung è sempre al TOP nei display! Parlando di Samsung, non si può non soffermarsi ad elogiare il display Super AMOLED utilizzato. Da sempre il colosso coreano è al TOP, andando di anno in anno a migliorare sempre più. Su Note 9, il display da 6.4” UHD è una goduria. I colori sono brillanti, ma ben bilanciati, con un ottimo contrasto e un nero che, essendo AMOLED, è assoluto. Nonostante questa tecnologia del display soffra di una insita tendenza all’azzurro aumentando l’angolo di visuale, questo pannello non se soffre eccessivamente, rimando abbastanza consistente anche sui bianchi. Note 9 Dal punto di vista hardware dentro Note 9 troviamo il meglio che c’è in casa Samsung. Il tutto è spinto da un processore Exynos 9810 affianca da 6 GB di RAM nella versione 128 GB, mentre 8 GB di RAM in quella da 512 GB. La batteria è da 4000 mAh. Dal punto di vista fotografico abbiamo una doppia 12 MP sul retro, di cui una standard con apertura variabile f/1.5-f/2.4, mentre l’altra è un teleobbiettivo 2X con apertura f/2.4. Sul fronte una Selfie Cam da 8 MP f/1.7. Lato connettività, oltre al 4G+, abbiamo il Bluetooth 5.0 e Wifi dual-band. Samsung Experience è ricca…forse troppo note 9Sul software non mi soffermo più di tanto. La base è la classica Samsung Experience, che da S8 si migliora e aggiorna poco alla volta. Si tratta di una delle versioni di Android più ricche di contenuti, con un enorme sforzo di Samsung nel creare un forte ecosistema di servizi alternativo a quello Google. Non si può dire che non sia ricco di funzioni, ma a volte anche troppo. Non sono ancora ben riuscito ad inquadrare una vera utilità dell’Edge Panel, quantomeno di Bixby e del suo tasto dedicato. Simpatica, ma al tempo stesso inutile, l’Emoji AR che va a creare un proprio avatar, mentre invece continua a darmi un’enorme soddisfazione è come Samsung abbia implementato fin da S8 il force touch nel tasto home per risvegliare il display. Ho inoltre davvero apprezzato molto la sinergia nello sblocco tra il riconoscimento del volto e dell’iride, che non sono più separati. In ogni caso, ruolo centrale nel software di questo Note 9 sono le funzioni della S-Pen. Basta estrarla da device bloccato o attivo, per accedere direttamente alle azioni che si possono svolgere. Davvero comodo, anche se per i miei standard, non è fondamentale. Impossibile metterlo in crisi Dal punto di vista delle performance, non c’è nulla da dire: non sono mai riuscito a mettere in crisi questo Note 9. L’interazione è sempre fluida e velocissima, sia nell’apertura delle app, che nel multitasking. Inoltre, anche stressando molto il dispositivo, non scalda mai troppo, dissipando bene il calore generato e mantenendo stabili le prestazioni. Risulta infatti quasi superfluo soffermarsi troppo su questo frangente: Note 9 è un TOP gamma fatto e finito, sempre consistente nelle sue performance. Note 9 L’autonomia è buona, ma non esagerata. Sicuramente sono lontani i tempi delle due giornate piene con facilità dei primi Note. Complice un processore potente, ma abbastanza energivoro, oltre ad un display enorme e con un’elevata risoluzione. La batteria da 4000mAh porta quindi sempre a sera senza difficoltà, ma non di più. Sotto questo frangente mi sarei aspettato molto meglio, soprattutto per i consumi in standby. Una fotocamera superlativa Sotto l’aspetto fotografico Samsung rimane al TOP e devo dire che questo Note 9 mi ha dato soddisfazione quasi quanto il mio Pixel 2 XL, che reputo ancora il punto di riferimento. L’app è veramente ricca di funzioni, tra cui le già citate Emoji AR, il super slow-motion e un’ottima modalità PRO. Gli scatti sono nitidi e ben bilanciati nei colori con entrambe le ottiche posteriori, con risultati eccellenti anche nel punta e scatta rapido. Al calar della sera, l’apertura f/1.5 da sicuramente i suoi benefici nel catturare più luce, ottenendo ottime foto, ma a mio avviso si poteva fare meglio lato software per far meglio leva sull’hardware a disposizione. I video sono davvero ottimi, ben stabilizzati, fluidi e rapidi nella gestione di messa a fuoco ed esposizione. Presente persino il 4K a 60fps, che risulta l’unica risoluzione in cui la stabilizzazione è assente. Note 9 Note 9 rimane l’unico a sfruttare davvero questi display… Volendo concludere, escludendo forse un’autonomia sottotono, Note 9 non delude affatto le aspettative. Come ogni Samsung TOP gamma, si dimostra ricco di funzioni, con prestazioni eccellenti, un display superlativo e una fotocamera che offre grandi soddisfazioni. Sicuramente il prezzo è molto elevato, dato che si parte ufficialmente da 1029€. Ad un prezzo inferiore si trovano ovviamente TOP gamma equiparabili su tantissimi aspetti, ma nessuno di questi ha la S-Pen. Se quindi cercate un dispositivo di fascia alta e il pennino per voi non è solo uno sfizio, non posso no consigliarvi questo Note 9. Grazie alla S-Pen, samsung si conferma come l’unico produttore a far fruttare veramente a pieno questi display giganti.
