INJORA Rock Tarantula Nylon Buggy Body Shell Chassis Kit for TRX4M 1/18 RC Crawler Upgrade（Blue）

Honestly, this body is a complete game changer for these 1/18 crawlers. The clearance, versatility in suspension and access it gives to work on them is completely unrivaled. I was hesitant to use a 3D printed frame at first but these hold up extremely well. The tiny screws that hold this together can strip easily so be careful, even then though there are so many, even if one or two strip, the others hold it together really well. The design is near perfect, others on here will complain about the servo hitting or scraping but that is simply because they are either using stock shocks or shocks not much larger than stock. I used the Injora 59mm shocks and can't get the servo to scrape if I try. If it's a problem for some, Injora offers a new free hood with clearance for the servo, if you go to their website and enter a code, they will ship you the corrected hood for free. The only thing I can say even remotely bad about this, is that the battery cannot be taken to and from the crawler body, easily. I managed to get the entire battery tray and strap in but there is no way to release it, remove and replace the battery, not easily anyway. So, you end up keeping the same battery in and just plugging the whole car into the charger. I see other solutions for this debacle, but I've tried them all and nothing is an "easy" fix for this. I personally use a Velcro strap I got from another project, its the best I can use over and over but even then it's difficult to get re-strapped.All in all, for the money, this is an absolute must have. I bought extras just to have on hand because the price is too good to pass up. I would 100% recommend these to others and I will most certainly buy again. One of each color :)

This product came with instructions and plenty of extra hardware. Easy to assemble but be careful of over-tightening. The biggest challenge is placing electronics and battery. Did run into some minor clearance issues on the front using high trail links.This is a great entry for someone wanting to make something custom without it being too overwhelming or expensive.

I love it. Low center, looks awesome, I have a lay down servo axle so I had to space out the lower front end of the chassis but that was easy to do with some extra bits laying around that I had. The plastic is flexible but very durable. 10/10

This chassis is such an upgrade in performance and its tougher than it looks.

Edit: They sent me a 2nd package to see if I would change my review, and the quality is just bad. The pictured screw hole does not even come close to where its supposed to line up. The cage looks good once done, but the headache isn't worth it.The item came missing 30+ screws m1.4x6 screws. Contacted the manufacturer and they said it would take 15-20 days to have the correct screws shipped because they were coming from China. And this was after a week going back and forth with them, they wanted pictures of the missing screws? Just avoid the company and save yourself the headache.

This thing has been awesome, I had clearance issues with my bronco body so i got this, it works amazing. It is a bit hard to assemble but i assembled it while watching a video from cape crawlers on youtube and it was fine. The Trx4m is so much better than before and the lightbar is the cherry ontop. I had to cut the hood to fit the servo so it wouldnt rub, but not a big deal. Took me about an hour to put together all in all, very worth it. If you are running long travel/droop suspension like I was it will not work and you will have to go back to stock sizing, however the stock setup with this chassis is better than droop/long travel with the bronco/land rover body. Definitely will buy again if I get another trx4m!

Injora really hit it out of the park with their TRX4m Tarantula rock crawler build. I purchased the clear panel one so mine is painted using Tamiya PS-46, iridescent purple/green. Using all the spare parts from my TRX-4m Defender it went together very easily. Only issue was the light bar where half of the lights worked. With a little tweaking I got the whole light bar working but was planning to replace it anyways. Other than that this crawler is a great starter build. I also purchased the Injora trailer to use on the Defender or FMS K-10 truck to pull the Tarantula.

Nice chassis for a nice and low price, I also added a bunch of upgrades to the trx4m that turned this into a serious machine. It came with extra bolts, 2 hoods and the alen wrenches needed

Nach Totalausbau meines Traxxas TRX4M High Trail, noch höher, noch breiter, und viel, viel schwerer etc. hat der originale Scaler Body schon lange nicht mehr richtig gepasst. Aber dieser Buggy Käfig ist genau das richtige für solche Umbauten 👍 Der lässt so ziemlich alle Veränderung zu, und sieht heftig geil aus. Der mitgelieferte Led Balken ist ziemlich hell, und wird auch ganz schön warm, und zieht wahrscheinlich auch gut Strom? Gemessen hab ich's allerdings nicht. Okay, muss man ja nicht unbedingt anstecken. Der Zusammenbau an Sich ist kein Hexenwerk, Bauanleitung liegt bei, benötigt aber einen 1mm Inbus. Die Schräubchen sind dementsprechend klein, und das Gewinde im Plastik dreht schnell durch! Habe sie alle mit Sicherung eingesetzt, und halten bis jetzt super 👍 Für mich das beste Upgrade!

Telaio tubolare fantastico in nylon. Non necessita di pezzi aggiuntivi. Smontato il Trx4m e montato dentro questo buggy senza nessun tipo di problema. Consiglio di mettere ammortizzatori più lunghi.

(Updated) from 3 starts to 5I used this frame to build a rock bouncer that my son has been using to bash around, it's been dropped and launched down slides and off of playground steps and it's still holding strong. I just ordered a second one.I love almost all injora products but this one is middle of the road for me. I used for a spare parts build its a very light and flexible frame, I was almost tempted to glue everything together since the fine thread screws don't tighten down very well in the plastic frame. I gave it three starts since it's working as it should for the first few batteries but not sure how long it will last.
