Excellent item for relief after Hip Replacement

I had hip replacement surgery and I knew that no ice packs that we had on hand would do the job. So I ordered this one. But I used it as a flat ice pack, and it worked well since I had an anterior replacement.It has velcro straps, but there is NO WAY that I could figure out how to make it work. So I was half happy. It did help me with my recovery but if I had to use it as it is shown in the picture, I would have been totally out of luck, For that reason, I was disappointed. Now I am trying to decide whether or not I should save the velcro straps!

I had a really bad flare up of my hip, and decided to give this brand a shot. Ice pack gets very cold and stays that way for a decent amount of time. I'm honestly a bit surprised, but quite pleased. I've bought a lot of ice packs over the years, so I have a lot to compare to. I had a friend shortly after who needed an ice pack for their knee, and I recommended this brand.

I purchased two of these, so that I could wear one and have one in the freezer. I used them every day for about two weeks after my hip replacement surgery. They are easy to fit with the velcro straps. They are flexible and very comfortable unlike other ice packs. I wore them while sitting or walking and they stay where you put them. I would buy these as a gift for anyone, because they are good quality and nice looking.

It doesn't stay cold for long. 10 minutes. Price reflects the deal.
