I would definitely recommend this product. I loved not having to do ANYTHING to put it together! Just unfold and place the shelf pegs into the metal frame and it's ready to go. I am using this folding shelf to hold some dumbells and workout equipment and I am very pleased with how strong it is! The shelves are not bending at all in spite of placing about 30 pounds of weight onto it (I do keep the weights on the bottom shelf because I thought that would be most sturdy).My only advice about this piece would be to consider what you want to place on it before buying, because anything with 'legs' or anything tiny like small pieces of decor will probably fall through/not balance well because of the open-bar style the shelves are. For example I have a lamp with little legs at the bottom and it did not balance well on the shelf so I ended up not putting it there. If what you want to use it for will not have that issue, then I think you will be super happy with this purchase like I am (:

This bookshelf was perfect for storing quite a few books in a small space. And there was no hassle with the set up, I just had to unfold it and press the shelves in place.

Not bad, kind of light weight, easy to assemble, little shelf. Fits my needs, as it looks and does what it says. Has a couple little hangers with washers and screw so you can tie it to something to make it more stable. I didn't use them.

I just received my Flipshelf-Folding bookcase last week. I am extremely happy with this my purchase. It is very sturdy, nice looking and no assembly. I plan to order another in a different size. I without a doubt recommend this bookshelf.

I bought two of these to use as end shelves in a window seat. They are incredibly well made, solidly constructed, include leveling feet, hold all the weight I need and more. In fact, they are such a quality product, and so well priced, that I bought more to use in my kitchen and bathroom.Amending this a year later because they were unavailable for awhile, then when they came back in stock, the price went from under 30 dollars to more than 50 dollars per piece. I can't recommend them anymore; that's much too steep a price hike, especially now when so many people are financially stressed.Final edit: original review posted in 2019, price below $30. Now 2024, priced at $60. That's a 100% markup over five years. They were a great buy when they were reasonably priced.

I was very excited for this to arrive and was not let down. It isn't cheap, flimsy material. It is a sturdy metal frame. It comes folded flat and took less than a minute to unfold and set up. It also comes with screws and straps to attach to the wall if desired.Absolutely pleased and glad I bought it. I'm disappointed it was taken off of Prime, and the price raised, or I would get another. These are perfect for homes or apartments, indoors or outdoors.Please bring the other sizes onto Prime! I would love to get many of these from this manufacturer.

I've bought a number of these easy-to-assemble bookshelves in the last 4 months!!! No problem with the product...the problem [why I could not, in good conscience, give it 5 stars] is because the delivery system for this product is less reliable than anything I've seen at Amazon! Just be prepared for this product to--very possibly--NOT arrive on time [as promised].
