Great item. Great price
Easy to install. Makes using the two different designs very easy to put together. Extremely durable and perfect size. Function great. Would buy again.

Perfect!
This worked great because I already had an sae setup from the previous owner plus it had an dapter for usb phone charger so it was easier to keep the sae setup

Perfect adapter
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Fit and worked perfectly to plug my Nico battery charger into the dash charging port on my Side by Side.

If only it included a polarity reverser, and didn't cost so much
This adapter works as expected, and it would be very odd if it didn't. But there are a couple of things to gripe about. First, it costs about twice what it should. The NOCO quick connector is a manufacturer-specific connector, so in order to adapt it to SAE, if that's what you need to do, this is your only choice, and NOCO charges twice what they should charge for it.They got the polarity the opposite of what it should be. Since you use this as a voltage source, the positive pin should be the +12VDC, and the exposed pin should be negative. Although, no matter which way they did it, it is always the responsibility of the user, when doing anything with DC power, to insure that the polarity is correct. You need to have a small DVM or DC polarity checker of some sort. AND, in general you need to have one of those little polarity reversers. NOCO should have packaged one those little inexpensive polarity reversers with this thing, but they didn't, and this is another gripe, especially since you'll very likely need one, given that they got the polarity wrong. My particular need was with using my NOCO charger to charge a small 12VDC lithium ion battery pack, that I recently bought from Amazon. For charging the battery pack, the battery case has the female half of a common 5.5mm x 2.1mm coaxial power connector, as you would expect. I needed to adapt the output of the NOCO charger to the male half of this type of power connector. Note that the male half has exposed metal on the outside and does not have a pin on the inside, whereas the female half has a pin on the inside. When you check the polarity with this type of connector, you always need to check it at the male half, for the simple reason that there is no way to make reliable probe contact at the female end. In some cases, you will need a male-to-male adapter of this type, 5.5mm x 2.1mm, in order to have an exposed male half so that you can check the polarity. Thus, there are three things that you generally need to have handy when working with SAE and coaxial power cabling: 1. polarity checker, 2. SAE polarity reverser (a small, simple, cheap thing), 3. male-to-male adapter for the coaxial cabling. For the male-to-male coaxial adapter, it is handy for one end to have a 90-degree bend in the connector. Sometimes it is handy for both ends to have a 90-degree bend. The full setup that I needed, in order to charge the battery using the NOCO charger:1. The NOCO to SAE adapter2. SAE polarity reverser3. SAE to 5.5mm x 2.1mm adapter with female coaxial connector4. Short male-to-male 5.5mm x 2.1mm coaxial cableYou can find SAE to 5.5mm x 2.1mm adapters with male coaxial connector, and this is probably the better one to have at least 50% of the time. Because of the configuration that applies when I use the battery for what I use it for, as opposed to when I am charging it, I needed a male-to-male adapter to connect the battery output (also female coaxial 5.5mm x 2.1mm) to the power cable that goes to a security camera. Given that I needed this cable, I decided to use it when charging the battery, which meant that I needed the SAE to coaxial adapter to have the female half of the coaxial connector. For me this was a tossup, however in the majority of applications it will probably be more useful for the coaxial connector to be male, on the SAE to coaxial adapter.

Exactly What is Needed, but…
This is exactly what is needed to keep your battery conditioned with the NOCO Genius 5, in my arrangement. In my research it also works with other models of the charger. This did not come with the charger, which is sad and leads me to believe there was some intention in that. What this does is make a motorcycle riders life more convenient by allowing the charger to be disconnected in 2 seconds, rather than 3 minutes with the alligator clips. What the problem comes down to is the charger cable connection type on alligator is compatible out of the box where the screw on connectors are not, hence the need for this adaptor.

Life saver
Great quality. Safe with a built in replaceable fuse. Excellent for my Harley which already had a factory plug run through the wiring harness so I didn’t have to bother with switching to the Noco pig tail
