I have to be honest, I thought I was going into overkill mode when I bought this sensor. Do I really need it for my Halloween video projection, especially at the price I paid? The short answer is, yes. The set up is easy as the HDMI video device has a port for this sensor already. when combined with the HDMI video device you can set the device to trigger different videos to play when movement is detected. This isn't a cheap light sensor masquerading as a motion sensor either, this is a true PIR and little trick-or-treaters will set it off at a distance.

Used this to trigger a jump-scare video in a haunted barn for Halloween. Did exactly what I expected with the numi 4k lite video player. Used a 20' 3.5mm audio extension cable to be able to place the sensor where it was needee.

I purchased 3 of these motion detector triggers and 3 of the button triggers for my Neumi Atom 4k's for some holiday displays. The button triggers work flawlessly, these motion triggers are worthless. I hooked up the first one to run a test of the display.... nothing happened at all. Tried the second motion sensor and the "trigger" video would play for a second or two then stop. Tried the third sensor and it did the same thing. Just to make sure it wasn't something fixable, I hooked up the button trigger and it worked flawlessly again. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THESE! Buy the button triggers that actually work, not this junk.

I followed all the instructions and named the files properly in the root directory. Nothing happened. Was frustrated but their customer service was awesome. All the issues I had were user error. Took me 2 days to realize I had the sensor in the wrong port! Great company!

Purchased the player along with this motion sensor. Didn’t read the set up instruction and wondering why it didn’t work. Assumed it was a the motion sensor problem requests a replacement. While waiting for the replacement. I reach out to technical support and they send me the updated manuals for renaming the loop/trigger setting’s. It works as intended.

The original one they sent was faulty with a loose connection. They sent me a replacement within three days. Fantastic communicaton and support. Works as desighned.
