Got a two pack of these for our hot shot 8 year old neighbor. He is the Quarterback for our area little league select team and can really play ball. I don't think this will be too long for him. It seems like a high quality micro fiber towel and the waffle pattern will help with grip.It is thin, but I think these towels are meant to be. In our hot and humid climate, it's really going to be there to wipe sweat off his hands between plays. I bought the two pack so he can change out the towel at halftime. The white goes with any uniform. However, I'm not too optimistic that this will wash out bright white after several uses. That's with any white that sees the football field.He can't wait to use it. Recommended.

My son needs a towel to wipe the sweat from his face because he sweats profusely when he plays football, but it also serves a fashionable purpose. He wears it because it looks cool too. Look good, play good! It’s even better that it comes in a two-pack because when two of my sons play on the same day they each can have one.

My son plays high-school football and he thinks that it's a tad bit to skinny. It does what it's supposed to do, he just would like a little more width. It has velcro that will pull away if someone grabs during a tackle. It can easily be worn on the front or back for your personal comfort. The stitching looks good and it's well made.
