HORUSDY Multi-Use Siphon Fuel Transfer Pump Kit for Gas Oil and Liquids

I bought this one to remove and add fluid from an automatic transmission and it did great. Each pump moves a lot of fluid compared to some of the ones I saw in some videos. I suggest you straighten the hose for a day or two before use because it wants to curl back up to the way it is packaged and makes it aggravating to use.

We used this siphon/pump to empty our dishwasher of water after its pump stopped working. We couldn't use the siphon aspect of the tool because we were draining water into the kitchen sink, which was higher than the bottom of the dishwasher. Still, the manual pump worked great once we got the hang of it and make short work of the job. Very, very happy with this cheap tool.

Used it to pump out dirty water from my furnace pan when the condensation collector had gotten plugged. Stopped working quickly and I thought it was defective, but realized that the dirt particles were getting stuck inside the pump. Immersing in clean water and pumping to flush out the dirt quickly resolved the issue, but had to do this numerous times before I could complete the task. Overall a good pump for the cost but be aware that it gets easily jammed by dirty particles in a fluid.

Absolute junk. The hoses that come with it are cheap and kinked so bad they can’t be straightened out. The pump itself worked OK, but even then the hoses don’t stay attached resulting in spilled liquid everywhere. Don’t buy this, it isn’t worth it, spend a little more and buy a better product.

Pump works well *for small volumes*. However, it doesn't continue siphoning without pumping action. You can't just get a siphon started and then see a continuous flow. This pump is inadequate for siphoning large volumes, such as occasional water from a pool cover, which is what I needed. Also, the small box packaging includes the plastic hoses wrapped with tight bends. This impedes the use of the hoses as they want to continue to curl back into their packaged shape.

I just tried this little hand pump out with a few 5-gallon buckets of water in my backyard, and it worked great, with a very good level of flow. I bought it to remove and refill transmission and differential fluids in my car, and from the looks of it, it is exactly what I need. Seems like a legit 5 product, so as it doesn't fall apart on me anytime soon, in which case I will alter my score accordingly.

I needed this to pump out the transmission fluid from a 2019 suburban through the dip stick. The black line shown is very small ID and just long enough to make the bottom of the pan. I had to modify it with clear 3/8 hose to see fluid moving. What I did was prime the pump then after about two pumps had to wait about a minute for the fluid to move up the tube. Once the pump body was full of fluid I depressed the pump and the fluid drained into a bucket. Slow process but I was able to get most of the fluid out and dropping the pan was free of any fluid spilling everywhere. Overall it ls a good pump with some mods to make it work for the application.
