These are perfect for my applications. Easy to install. Mechanism works well. Feels like a good solid connection that will not accidently close. Cost was good for the type of hardware. Screw holes are somewhat close to edge, so depending on the width of what you are attaching it to, it could be close to edge with possible splitting out of wood.

Heavy duty, easy to operate, a bit of a chore to install and get just right, but I'm using a pair for a drop shelf and it's exactly what I was looking for. Locks into place nicely, very easy to release the catch to drop the shelf, just remember you need a hand on each catch if you use two of them. The included "fasteners" are utter garbage, complete trash. Toss them and use real screws and you'll be a lot happier. After all, you're buying the hinges, not the junk screws. And the hinges alone are worth it, they're solid and well designed.

Used these brackets on an exercise table to fold the legs, which made it possible to move the table as needed and store it out of my way when not in use. Worked just as described, shipping was timely, packaged very well. Would buy again if needed.

These brackets appear to be heavy duty. However, when you attach a wood leg onto the bracket, it does not stay closed. I suspect the spring is not strong enough. Works well when opened and stays locked in position. I do not recommend these.

I kind of had a hard time telling the size of the bracket but nevertheless it is really solid. Very satisfying snap into place.
