Easy to play, but sound more difficult than they are. Some lovely arrangements.

It makes no attempt at proper Jazz voicings and it is not an instructional book on any level. No attempt is made to explain improvisation at all - its simply a book of tunes.The fact is Jazz isn't easy to play and this book is very limited in its ambition. If you practice regularly, you may find that the arrangements here soon bore you. But it does what it says on the tin, and for that I cannot criticise it.
