I rarely leave a 1-star review, but I have decided to reduce my 2-star review to one star. This device is essentially useless. I looked over some of the very brief 5-star reviews and I do not understand why they would be satisfied with this. It cannot work for power distribution, only working when plugged into a computer. Most devices like flash drives and ssd disk drives (except very old ones) do not work. The memory card reader is painfully slow (slower than specified). The manual is useless. I'm going to throw it away and try to find something that actually works. I bought two of these Baseus USB C Hubs, one solely to let me charge USB-A devices from a USB-C Power Distribution chargers. I tried the Hub plugged into to a portable power bank, a dumb USB-C port on an outlet strip and my car's USB-C port. Then I plugged into the Hub various USB-A devices to charge and I also plugged in a USB-C to iPhone Lightning cable to the Hub. The Hub power light came on, but NONE of the combinations did any charging. (Same results with both Hubs). The product description doesn't explicitly claim that this will work, but it certainly doesn't say that it won't. The ONLY thing that works for charging is a computer or like device as a power source. The product manual is useless and gives no clue. The other Hub was intended to replace an antique USB-A hub/card reader attached to my Lenovo Legion Tower 5I gaming computer. I intend to plug in all kinds of stuff, but the primary purpose is reading camera memory cards. I hoped the USB-C connection would be faster. I plugged in a SanDisk Ultra Class 10 SD card rated at 120 MB/S to the new hub and tried copying video files from the card to my desktop's M.4 SSD over a 50 GB connection. I was getting read speeds of 24 MB/S. That's painfully slow. The Hub manual says it is supposed to be 60 MB/s. To make sure it wasn't my computer, I took a relatively new UGREEN dedicated USB-A based card reader and plugged it into the Hub. This time I got 80 MB/S. Same card, same connection to the computer, but much faster! So while I can't provide any data validating the 5GB claims of the Hub, I can say with certainly that its card reader is only a fraction of the advertised speed. There is also a problem using external disk drives. I tried an external SSD drive that uses a USB-C interface, plugged into the Hub. The computer didn't recognize the drive. When I removed the Hub and plugged the drive directly into the cable supplying the Hub, it worked fine. I took three external disk drives with USB-A cables, all of which worked fine with the computer; however only one of the three was recognized by the Hub, the smaller antique 300 MB one. And no, I didn't try to plug in more than one device at a time. My conclusion is that modern large disk drives do not work with the Hub. Otherwise, the Baseus USB C Hub looks good. It feels solid and was well packaged. Reasons for rating: Overall: 1 stars. Poor performance, didn't work for my purposes, useless manual. Light weight: 4 stars. It's a bit heavy but not much. Value for money: 2 stars. Disappointing performance and didn't do what I needed but it was cheap. Easy to use: 2 stars. I wasted an inordinate amount of time validating that it didn't work and the manual was no help.

First day review, may change if breaks.... All I can say is AWESOME, works great on my android galaxy 9+ with dex, Very cool product and price. Glad my old 7 year old 9+ has a high end processor; which newer 2024 mid range phones fail to surpass lol. Sadly I broke my phone screen FINALLY after the last drop out of many, on my hard rock floor, disabled the middle screen portion. BUT with this device I can use my device fully with mouse/keyboard, whew, still works. Works great with your broken touch screen phones that support dex or. I like this soo much, will probably buy another, if they go out of business or disappear suddenly. When I look at t his usb device... soo many ports and features.. WOW. I hope they stay in business for a long time.

My laptop doesn't have a lot of ports, which is why I picked one of these up. I have used it for well over a year now, and I'm really happy with it. I've had zero problems with any of the ports. The adapter itself is really well made, it doesn't feel cheap. Connection is simple, just plug it in and there you go. The cable could be a bit longer, but other than that, I have zero complaints.

After about 1.5 years of very light weekend use, two of the USB ports failed one by one. I used one port for my keyboard and it suddenly stopped working. I switched to another USB port and that one failed as well after about two months. I’m still giving it 3 stars because the HDMI port and the remaining USB port as well as USB C are still working fine. But overall, this feels like a low-quality product with roughly a one-year reliable lifespan. For something this simple (not high-tech), I expect at least five years of stable use. Well… it’s cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for.

The Baseus USB C to HDMI Adapter Hub has been a lifesaver for connecting all my devices. The one down side that I wish the following included was an Ethernet port as I find this helpful in many situations. The hub is compact and portable, perfect for travel or working on the go. It does not allow reading two SD/microSD cards at the same time, despite having the ports.

I actually love this little guy! From Samsung,Motorola, Anbernic, its a little beast. I use it with Samsung Dex on a S10, S22, and S25 Se worked perfectly.Used with Anbernic and MicroHdmi, A Motorola, a Chrome Book, and a Dell laptop. You need to supply proper voltage to make sure things work. Ohms Law doesn't mean you can deny power where needed. If yours doesnt work correctly use a proper Power Supply . I use a 90 watt USB Power Supply.

Llevaba tiempo buscando un buen hub que pudiera sostener 4K a 60hz y que no fuera muy costoso, sin duda este fue la mejor opción. Personalmente me dedico a la producción multimedia y conectado un disco duro, una memoria SD y un monitor externo, todo en un solo hub me parece sorpréndete cuando quiero editar videos, hacer corrección de audio y retocar fotografías. Es una compra que sin duda recomendaría y estoy a punto de comprarme otro para mi segunda laptop. Detalles a tomar en cuenta es que después de un rato con varias cosas conectadas puede calentarse un poco pero nada grave si no estás en un lugar muy caliente. Por último me gustaría agregar la belleza de los stickers que incluye, de verdad son muy lindos y recientemente me pedí una carcasa rígida para mi Mac porque quiero poder pegarlos en la tapa trasera.
