The magnet worked fine but I was unhappy that the top came off easily. Easy fix with glue or tape I guess.

Starting off it could use a stronger magnet or thinner plastic I stuck the pen in a jar of iron and it picked up very little to none. I let off the push pin cleaned it up and tried again same result. Next thing the push pin should have a way to lock in the down position it’s fairly flimsy it sticks up about 2 inches I keep it in my shirt pocket so when I bend down to grab something or move around it hangs up and it got bent
