This is the cheapest raw sugar I've ever seen, but there is definitely a big difference between this and the expensive stuff like 'Wholesome'. It seems a lot drier, maybe older? and a lot lighter color than the more expensive stuff. Most importantly - my grains took a lot longer to ferment, but still did end up working but not as well. If you are using for this purpose and money is on your mind I would suggest buying this along with a more expensive brand and then mixing them together. I have had many good batches come from that method. Overall it is a good price, just remember... You get what you pay for. . .

The large-crystal, coarse and flavorful sugar I was needing for baking. And the expiration date is still anyear and a half away. A good buy.

I bought this sugar for my everyday use. I use it in the making of my cold coffee in the morning, and also in cooking.The sugar is larger than average so it takes some time to dissolve. for example I used it to sweeten a coleslaw dressing and had to add milk to it just for it to dissolve. It tastes like it should, just bigger crystals.

It came on time and exceeded my expectations. I have replaced refined sugar in all my containers with your turbinado sugar. Many thanks for this fine product at an excellent price
