Great for Easy Phone Access!
I hike and backpack a lot. I also spent a summer doing field surveys using my phone (Pixel 8) for navigation and collecting field data constantly. So I need to easily access my phone, while also protecting it. This case is a life saver! I put this case on my backpack strap. It's easy to zip and unzip and the zipper has held up through extensive and constant use. It's kept my phone handy and protected while crashing through brush, stopping quickly to check my location, take notes, put it back in the case and move on. My phone was securely attached to my pack in the same brush that ripped off my gaiters, safety glasses and anything else it could tear or break off. When I could grumble about everything else, I was happy to know I wasn't going to lose my phone and it was super convenient to get to.It's kept things dry in light rain, same as a secure pocket of a backpack. I haven't tested this in heavier rain for a long period, but I'd guess this is more resistant than waterproof. You could use a plastic bag additionally to keep electronics or food protected.A Pixel 8 fits easily in the case a larger phone would be a tighter fit. You could probably fit a little more in, but it would slow down the quick draw. You could also put this on your belt strap if you have room. I like the position on my left arm strap below my shoulder. The zipper is up when closed and I use my right hand for access. Best with decent width strap (>1") and a good attachment for the clip at the top (vertically placed). Workable with a 3/4" strap, but floppy and heavy with a smaller pack. I recommend for a day or multi-day pack, when you're loaded up and it's not as convenient to take the pack off all the time to access a secure pocket in the lid, side or back of the pack itself.

2000 miles and still going strong
This is an amazing phone pouch . It stays secure with no movement and fits my phone perfectly. There is no room for anything else but does work ad intended .

Great Osprey product
High quality and roomy - fits my iPhone 14 with room to spare. Inside has a mesh pocket and key clip. Attaches easily and securely to shoulder strap of backpack. Sturdy construction should stand up to long hikes.

Convenient but awkward
This is large enough to hold my Moto G Stylus in an OtterBox. It just looks awkward on my backpack strap.

Excellent addition to any pack
I move this from my Osprey day pack to Arcteryx overnight and it works great with both. I keep my cell phone and anything else I want to access quickly in it. This was a great purchase and a really reasonable price.

Well made but small
Like all Osprey products it is well made and easily attached to one of the straps on my backpack. Unfortunately, it has extremely limited capacity and I returned it.

Fantastic
I bought the red one to use as a first aid kit that I carry for road and gravel rides. I wanted something more durable than the cheap cases most first aid kits come with. This is waterproof and has some structure to resist crushing. That’s a plus or a minus depending on your view…it will not fit into an under-saddle bag, but is fine in my bike’s frame pack. I like its sturdiness. The red makes it obvious that it’s for emergencies. I’ve attached a nylon loop so it can be hung (say, off of the wet ground) during use. For me, the size was perfect to hold the items I keep in my first aid, which includes a (narrow) roll of coban tape, which has some bulk. My use case is a nasty crash 30-60 minutes away from an ER or ambulance and I may rely on somebody else quickly to locate the kit and have materials to bandage a large scrape.

Very Convenient Small Pack
I'm a distance walker, using a hydration pack to minimize carrying a water bottle (don't want that weight). I'm using this small pack, via the velcro strap, attached to the hydration pack strap that comes across my shoulder so contents are easily accessible. Highly recommend this pack. Works very well!!!
