Use for ec for May baby since 2 months maybe earlier. Been great! Would use it for my toddler to pee in if in a crunch too Would buy extra bands. I personally stopped using the band early on and held baby over because it always seemed to get messy quick but I need to try again for comfort because plastic does get cold

If you are trying out elimination communication for the first time and are on the fence about getting this extra band. Just do it! I just had my first baby four months ago and started elimination communication when she was nine days old. Mistakes happen, and having an extra cozy for the top hot potty is so nice. We always have a clean one on hand and changing it out is easy. While I will say that I thought it was a bit pricey for what it was, I am definitely glad I bought it! Easy to clean, we just throw it in the wash and dryer, and after lots of use it has held up great over four months. If you are starting out on your journey of elimination communication, I wish you the best of luck! It really seems intimidating to start, but it is so easy once you get the knack of it. We haven’t changed a poopy diaper in over a month!

Potty is great, however seller did not include the cozy or rubber band in the parcel. For the ridiculous price, pretty terrible service.

In my effort to minimize baby purchases, I didn’t start out with the top hat when my baby was a newborn. I thought I could just use the BabyBjorn potty insert for the newborn days. But my newborn baby was never comfortable on that insert as it is larger, so our EC journey was not off to a great start. Then I ordered this product. Game changer. It is the perfect size for a tiny newborn bottom. Also great for if you need to nurse baby on the potty. This was our all-day, every day potty for baby from the time she was a couple weeks old until about 6 months old. We never really used the potty cozy because I found it would just get soiled immediately and my baby was comfy enough without it. This product may seem pricey for what it is, but I found it to be worth it for my newborn’s comfort. I feel like this top hat potty was instrumental in our success with elimination communication

Great product. It is easy to use, by setting it between your thighs, and easy to clean.
