Audtek Platinum Negative (-) Battery Terminal Block

I had someone (or perhaps age/oxidization) mess up the negative terminal on my Grand Cherokee. I looked into the OEM parts and it apparently is part of a huge wiring harness that was not only costly, but connected to more stuff than I wanted to wiggle through. I was looking for something that I could replace it with quick and easy and wasn't sure if this would do the trick or not. The main reason I picked these was not only the low cost (I got a positive also and wasn't sure if I would use it or not as the positive terminal was fine) but also because it had holes for two wires.All the other terminators I saw were single wire, but the Jeep's harness has two large wires going into a molded lead terminal connector. So they showed, I got out the hack saw and cut into the lead on top & bottom of the negative terminal about 3/16" from the end (just in case I might need the extra length) and found it rather easy from that point to use the tip of a screwdriver like a chisel to split the rest up the middle to get the old wires out. Then just twist em up, hit them with the torch and some solder to bind the wires up and a little tightening with an allen screw and these were good to go! I did the positive terminal right after now that I knew what to expect and it took me 1/4 the time. And they look snappy as hell!

Love these (postive and negative) pieces. The allen head fasteners allow for a clean and streamlined installation and look.I have these on the battery attached to the solar power system for my shed.

good quality but it didn't fit my negative battery post without some mods to it. I had to make a thicker copper sleeve insert to make it work. It came with a sleeve but it wasn't thick enough. Works well now

Does what I need it to do at a decent price. Disappointed that it's slightly too big. I don't like having to use shims on battery terminals. Different metals lead to corrosion faster when electricity is involved. I got the proper positive and negative terminals & both are slightly over sized.

This part is junk. Oversize mount hole won't clamp on post. Threw in garbage. Not worth returning.I purchased both the + and - clamps and neither would tighten properly. This is onto a brand new battery. I picked up a couple of cheap lead clamps and they work perfectly. If the slots were cut deeper or the holes were reamed smaller these would work, but these must have been overlooked by QC and got sold as-is.These might look pretty but they simply do not clamp onto the battery posts properly rendering them useless junk.Beware of this issue before you consider purchasing these clamps.

works fine just wish they would include a sleeve or cover for the weather elements every car/truck faces every day.

The negative terminal fits but the positive is to big so if you just need the negative then your ok but if you get the pair, the positive it to big for the battery terminal.
