Finally, a stud finder that does more than guess. This thing is fantastic, with the ability to detect both metal, and electric wires, this has been a life saver when trying to figure out where that wire run is to add an outlet. Def would recommend.

Works

Instructions are very hard to follow, and may not be completely accurate for the model i received, since they were evidently originally written in Chinese, and poorly translated to English. I finally figured it out for the most part, and i will say the thing is sensitive, locating studs fairly accurately. As for locating metal and wires, I'm not so sure. I would prefer that it just used regular disposable batteries, rather than using a provided USB-A to C connector charger cable. The carry case is nice, but as far as I'm concerned they could do without it. The beeper signal is extremely shrill to the point of being annoying... supposedly that can be turned off.

Doesn't work

I bought this Digital Wall Scanner for my husband to make his work easier, and he's happy with it. It detects wood, metal, pipes, and AC wires with maximum precision thanks to its improved HPC chip and color TFT display. I've had some mixed experiences with Fnirsi products; some good, some bad. This product I would categorize as dangerous. The false positives and other weird behavior you see in the video are typical of some cheap stud finders. However, around 30 seconds in the video, the stud finder identifies electrical cables as a stud center. Yikes! For reference, the stud is on the left, with the wiring on the right. The attached photo shows that spot on the wall before the insulation and drywall were installed. It's one thing to miss the stud or the wiring, but calling wiring a stud is absolutely dangerous. Do not buy this product.

Very accurate and easy to use. Tested it on wood studs behind 1/2 inch drywall. I love how you can disable the beeping sound for electrical detection. Highly recommend this stud finder.

Tres précis, c'est pas mal mieux que la cochonnerie de motomaster que j'avais avant qui ma fait sacrer plusqu'une fois J'ai hate de faire des nouveaux trou dans mes murs 😆 mais cette fois probablement dans un vrai trusth 😁 Les boutons pour naviguer dans le menu est pas ten evident, je me suis fourer au debut et ca été mettre une langue etrangere je pensais que j'aurais été dans marde, mais finalement avec les instructions j'ai ciblé le menu language en chinois et fini par voir l'anglais, Malheureusement il n'y avait pas le francais Mise a part le menu les boutons sont tres bien placé pour le fonctionnement normal

Works as described

I bought few wall scanners from 35 pounds to 150. This one is one of most reliable, accurate and cheap scaner ever bought !!! As electronic and builder, I really recommend this device.
