I bought this cat-eye gel polish in Black Brown, having previously bought other colours of cat-eye polish from this brand which I found to be great quality, and this one is as no different.Black Brown isn’t the most accurate colour name, as it’s most definitely just a chocolatey brown with a rich gold metallic fleck but it really is beautiful, rich and elegant.The bottle is classy, the brush is easy to use and the polish is a great consistency, not too thick but doesn’t run, and lovely quality. There’s a small magnet in the box which works perfectly for creating simple cat-eye designs.It cures quickly and easily and wears very well. I wore this polish in another colour for a whole 10 days on holiday and it stood up to swimming, sun cream, heat etc.Overall, a great product for the price and so many gorgeous colours to choose from. Go for it!

The media could not be loaded. I can't comment un durability yet as I only painted my nails today but the liquid is a great consistency, its thick enough you only really need one coat! The glitter looks amazing. Value for money is exactly what you'd expect for the amount you get. I was worried the magnet would be a bit flimsy but it's really strong and effective! I would definitely recommend this gel and will be buying other colours!

Very lovely colour, true to photos. Doesn't cure on non filed nails it peels off. It's an easy to use product, comes with magnet.

the colour is super pretty but not very pigmented? and even with a strong magnet the cat eye effect is kind of subtle. not my fave but super natural and pretty if thats ur vibe

This is hands down the best nail gel I’ve ever used. Classy packaging, gorgeous and unusual colours, dries exactly when it says it will, and it lasts over two weeks without chipping, flaking or letting me down mid-handshake.I keep buying more shades like I’m prepping for a gel-pocalypse. At this point, I genuinely don’t have enough Thursdays in the year to wear them all.Tiny complaint? No matte top coat. But honestly, I’m still raving about it to anyone who compliments my “salon-quality” nails (which I do myself, thank you very much, with a glass of wine and an audiobook).10/10, would hoard again.

The color and shine is beautiful but it does not dry. Left it on my nails for more than one hour and it was completely wet. No use. So requested for a return.

Velvet nails just what I wanted! The colour and effect is great. The magnet is small but is easy to use to create the effect. Iv had my nails painted over 1 week now and no chips, it’s a really strong polish which I like.Liked it so much Iv just bought the black one.

I really liked this nail polish! It's very pretty once you figure out how it works. I don't seem to be able to find a simple guide and there's no instructions in the box so here is my attempt to explain how to get simple patterns.1. Prepare your nails however you normally do. Shape them clean them up etc.2. Put a clear base coat on and cure.3. If you want a base colour under the colour you are using put it on and cure it. Not necessary but it can slightly change the effect.4. Apply a coat of the catseye nail polish. If you want to you can use the first layer of polish as a chance to practice with the magnets. See how much the magnet makes a difference to the polish. Each colour seems to react differently, the dragon fruit pink colour reacts very quickly, the blue is much slower to react.5. Apply a second coat. Don't put the magnet too close start at the edges and move it around until you get the pattern you want. You can use any magnets! I found that one of my fridge magnets made the cool lines! The magnet makes DARK areas not shiny and it is not really possible to 'reset' the pattern with a magnet but you can just use the brush and reapply the polish before it is set.6. Once you are happy with the pattern cure for 2 minutes then apply a top coat and cure. I cured mine for 2 minutes to be sure.The colour is pretty strong so on my first try I only used one coat but it wasn't as good as when I used two coats. To remove it I used a nail file to remove the top coat and then a nail polish remover gel, it was pretty stubborn and hard to remove.The polish was very hard wearing and didn't chip easily. I was impatient and removed it before it was necessary because I wanted to try a different colour!Over all an excellent product, the bottle is a reasonable size and you don't need much so I think that it's going to last me for a long time.
