Nice shoulder rest, I just needed something higher
I was impressed by this shoulder rest. I'm pretty tall (like usually the tallest person anywhere I go), and have a long neck, so I ended up finding a rest that allowed the violin to raise higher, and now I can comfortably balance the instrument between my chin and and my shoulder without using my hands, and without strain or discomfort. The one I bought is more than three times the cost, and is a challenge to fit in the violin case. So for the majority of the people, I think this shoulder rest would be a good choice, and it is highly adjustable and good quality.

Teacher Recommended
This is the shoulder rest I recommend all of my students. In fact, this purchase was for a student who bought the wrong size twice...we love middle schoolers. It adjusts to fit 3/4 and 4/4 instruments and up to a 14-in viola, for those who aren't comfortable with sizing. I recommend this brand because it is easy, comfortable, and relatively sturdy. These don't fall off quite as much as the other brands mid-rehearsal. Would recommend!

Very good
very good shoulder rest. Thick and comfortable foam. One problem is that it doesn't fit in my violin case. I'd recommend getting the version with collapsible legs.

This is an excellent shoulder rest
This is an excellent shoulder rest! It is very comfortable yet provides a very solid platform to grip the violin. I really feel that I have firm control of the instrument. The feet grip the violin very firmly. I have had no problems at all with slippage. I particularly like the fact that it does not swivel. A plate that swivels on the feet has always seemed to me to do more harm than good because it adds instability. It is surprisingly adjustable. Each foot has three horizontal holes in which to screw them. I put the left foot (the one by the "bulge") on the innermost hole, and the right foot in the outermost hole (I use a 4/4 size violin). This moves the bulge more directly over my shoulder, and makes it more comfortable. An excellent value, especially for the price! Well done, Everest!!

Best shoulder rest I've had in 30 years of playing
I was guided to this rest by my classically trained violin instructor from whom I'm learning Scottish fiddle. This Everest rest has a slightly greater curve which fits my body shape and also comes with attachment pads which grip the fiddle better than the other brands (I've tried most of them); because of the feet it can be placed at the rear of the fiddle and not fall off when placed on a stand; as a result I can lower the legs so that the fiddle and rest can snuggle into my neck/clavicle region. I'm very impressed, (I've been a fiddler (not a violinist) for nearly 30 years) and recently have been working to learn Scottish fiddle which for me requires developing my ability to work with notation and practice playing with more classically based posture and left hand/arm positions. This new rest has enabled a more relaxed posture and I'm able to practice with less stress in my jaw and neck. I also discovered new resonance from the fiddle which I really enjoy. I marked the sturdiness a 4 because it's too soon to know how it'll do over years of use.

Worked well until we needed to adjust size
It worked very well for 2 years on 3/4 size violin but as soon as we tried adjusting it to a full size violin, we developed issues. The violin teacher was only able to adjust one of the screws, making it difficult to put on and off the violin. I tried adjusting the second side and now it’s too loose and keeps falling.
