... to 18 and adults could play together and have fun. Unexpectedly
I was looking for games that kids from 10 to 18 and adults could play together and have fun. Unexpectedly, all of us had a blast playing this. We found that it was more fun if we had one person be a judge because people tend to take liberties. Everyone from age 10 to 55 had a blast playing this together. Everyone was laughing and poking fun at each other for their answers and failures. There were a couple people who had a bit of difficulty thinking quickly so we paired them up with others and that worked great. No one felt left out or incapable. Simple game, fun time.

Many ways to play; easy fun
I use this in my classroom for all sorts of variations. Favorite so far is the line-up and run around the large table hitting the button with a new verb (noun... etc) and keep the circle going until the last one is running around the table and madly trying to think of a new word as classmates call out all sorts of answers (many wrong to throw off those still in). Great for a few minute brainstorm, words that rhyme... etc. Oh, and the game played the way it is meant to be played is also fun.

Tapple is a Nerve Racking Game designed to be played with all ages and Levels of Difficulty
Tapple is a great word game for a whole group of people. Although it is a bit nerve racking to beat the clock and spit out the words in ten seconds this is a game guaranteed to get your family shouting at each other and hogging the buzzer.I think of this game as Scattergories on steroids with the addition of the timer. My only criticism is that some of the categories are easy and the fact that you get to choose what category and not have one given to you makes the game too easy . If you plan to play with children its great. Also the fact that you can make up your own category should you choose that card adds some level of difficulty.Directions provided are clear and concise. I would take their suggestion to pass the timer if you are not just playing with four people and sitting around a table where all players are equi-distant from Tapple wheel.

Simple and fun game
I heard of this game on the Bobby bones show and I figured it's cheap enough. I bought it, shipping got it here pretty fast even with not so great weather.I played it with my family and we all had a blast. You can make up your own rules, or just follow the games rules. it's a lot harder than it sounds, and it's quite fun/ funny to hear what other people can come up with in 10 seconds. It's all fun until the person before you uses a word you wanted to use.

Fun but limited character set is disappointing
Fun and very easy to play for anyone. You could make up your own categories for infinite expansion.Biggest criticism is that the wheel does not have all letters. Although some letters in the English language are much less frequent than others, there is no real reason to not use an entire alphabet, and it DOES effect game play. If you play a lot of scrabble or otherwise have a vocabulary containing a reasonable number of words beginning with q, x and z - too bad - won't be an advantage here. Also missing "u" and "v" which seems ridiculous.

We liked the game
I bought this game in October to give to my family for Christmas. We liked the game; however the timer broke when playing for the first time Christmas day. The timer works erratically; we found that you have to wait a few seconds before it will restart. This defeats the purpose of the game since each player only has 10 seconds to respond. Unfortunately my return window has expired so we are stuck with a faulty game.

Great game to play again and again
It seems like it would be such an easy game. You would be surprised how difficult it gets as all the easy letters become used. I don't even use batteries, I just play it as a challenge to get all the letters. Sometimes I have to get creative in the end. It can be played as a single player game as well, which I love, given the fact that my hours make it difficult to play with the family. I am glad they got rid of letters like X and Z.

My family had so much fun playing this game
Purchased 7 family games for Christmas. My family had so much fun playing this game. I have a 10 yr. old and 17 yr. old. They had no problem playing together with an equal chance as winning which is rare. Very easy instructions but challenging game for all. This is one game Hubby and I don't roll our eyes at when family game night rolls around. Unlike Monopoly you can play for as little or as long as you like. Also try the game "5 Second Rule" similar and equally as fun for all ages. .
