Hubby was suffering with his asthma which seemed to worsen at bedtime, so after going top to bottom and corner to corner ensuring the roon was as clean and dust free as I could get it, I decided to try this purifier to also help.We had it on constantly for the first day or so to try to clean the air as quickly as possible, then changed to having it on during the day while we're not in there.It's done a really good job. The air feels clearer and he no longer suffers at bedtimeI can be loud when on during the day, but we're not in there, so...At night when we first had it on, it was quiet and didn't disturb our sleep.I've also noticed the added bonus of the room not smelling 'doggy' anymore.Definitely worth the 5 stars

Great bit of kit but unfortunately Amazon appear to have discontinued the replacement filters. Like many other customers I though I was going to have to scrap the unit but fortunately found a seller on eBay that is still selling them

It works and you can turn the light off. The sensor is rubbish though and only detects burnt toast, not air quality! Difficult to get replacement filters from the same brand - will see about this, but it could be an expensive disposable air filter…

I have a wood burning stove to heat my house and every now and again a bit of smoke comes out while putting wood in the stove.I have the unit running on auto and most of the time it runs on low speed with the blue light on.I opened the fire this evening and a puff of smoke came out and a minute or two later the light went red on the filters fan went to full power, after a few minutes this changed to Amber and the fan slowed to half speed. A little while later it went back to blue and the fan dropped to low speed.It's great to know the filter monitors your air all the time. I am very impressed with this filter and would highly recommend it. My lounge is 9m x 6m and it works perfectly.Filters are quite big and appear to be good value. Time will tell how long they last.

Pro’s - It’s good , it’s quiet on sleep, It looks nice. It does what it says. Sort of ‘IshCON’s - ALL Of the above is nonsense because you have to buy a bran new really expensive Air purifier to throw it away , to get an air filter for this as there NOT sold any moreThey do NOT Sell the filters anymore, So if you buy this & you smoke or have vocs in the air in a month you will need to change the air filter , but you won’t be able toothe ONLY way you can get an Air filter for this unit is by buying a bran new unit. So In short buy a new air purifier only to throw it away but take out the new filterWhat upsets me & makes me angry is the company know they DON’T sell any filters for it ,, but YET they still stock & sell them to people, knowing full well they can’t give you a replacement filterYes it works , & makes the air clean , it’s a nice size & does its jobBut all that means absolutely NOTHING when you can Not buy a new filter, but yet you can still buy this , & if you like it just pounder what you will do in 1/2/3 months when you need to replace the air filterYou Cant! So really your spending a bunch of cash on a door stop, I’m throwing mine away & now I’m never ever buying a non we’ll know brand on anything that might need parts , as this has happened to me 3 timesWith 3 different air purifiers. I thought this was a well known brand & I’d be fine & I got a new filter & a month later went to buy another but there is noneAnd that was months ago, so if you like it, remember it will be useless & start to smell because you won’t be able to change the filter & it will do the oppositeIf you want to buy it you can use it for ~~~~really big paper weight or a door stop or something to look at & never turn on .. well then this is the perfect solution for you!BUT IF YOU WANT A GOOD AIR purifier ~~~~~~If you want a good air purifier ( I can’t mention other brands ) but go on Reddit & ask people & you will learn loads in a hour & you can then make the best decision to meet your needs , or Google the long time big names , I.e there making them forv10+ yearsThat’s my advice on getting an air purifier & I hope this helps you in making your choice if this is the right machine for you ,It does what it says , but it is loud in my opinion but you have read all the cons. So I have been using these continiously for the last few months: I like the product, it seems to work well, and the sleep mode really is quiet enough to sleep through. (Weather or not it actually does anything during sleep mode is another matter.) In non-sleep mode its loud, but what would you expect. The lights that change colour when the air quality is bad is a really nice feature, and if when lighting the wood stove some smoke comes into the room it changes to red and over a period back to amber and blue. (Blue is an odd standin for green in a trafic light sequence, but looks cool)My annoyance is I feel that this product **COULD** have been so much better. What is needed is a light activated sleep mode. And you need to be able to switch it either way. In a bedroom, you would switch it so that light means on, and no light means sleep mode. (As you are sleeping in the bedroom.) In a living room you want it the other way round, so that when you leave and go to bed, the device kicks in and cleans the air. So I would suggest you update the hardware to include a light sensitive cell, and the existing sleep mode now has 4 posibilities which it can cycle through: sleep on, sleep off, sleep by day, and sleep by night.Would I buy again? Certainly. But please, please can you make this update as it would **SO** much improve the product!

I usually don’t leave reviews.. BUT all that you need to know is:1) I had a stuffy nose and within a couple hours it literally cleared up! I didn't realise until I reached for tissue to blow my nose and nothing came out.2) I’m a light sleeper so any noise can irritate me when trying to go sleep, this thing is QUIET. I highly recommend to improve air quality and if you need the sleep mode to really be on sleep mode. 10/10
