Got it out of the box and used it right away. It is very sturdy and works really well with my garden that has small exposed areas where grass and weeds grow and I was easily able to work around my flowers without hitting any of them. I did however spend about 15 minutes with a wet stone putting a razor edge on it as it came blunt out of the box. Would definitely recommend this product.

This was an easy item to assemble and prep. However the blade arrived un-sharpened and needed to sharpen the blade. It was easy to sharpen with out the handle the metal was a little soft and easy to get an edge.Used it for 8hrs straight and it cut though heavy clay to get at the root of the weeds and goat heads that were growing.

Does the job according to my hubby. He is happy with it.

This is the most amazing hoe. The edge on each side is perfect for getting close to items. I am 71 year old female and I put this together with no issues. I have used hoe’s all my life but this is really well balanced. It was sharp enough to use when arrived. I have used it for about three weeks. I did take my file and put a better edge. I love the handle, I mean wh knew. I’ve always had wood handles. The quality is excellent. Best hoe I think I’ve ever owned.

It’s head getting lose easily. It’s also not very sharp. I have a regular long handled hoe. It works just as well sometimes seams better.

I'm going to hopefully be able to return this item, because it's not usable. The pieces unscrew themselves during use, requiring you to stop work and retighten the handle. Maybe i just haven't gotten it tight enough, but given how this is used, it could do with reinforcing. The angle of the hoe itself is very acute. It cuts in, not down. I'm not very experienced with hoes at all, so I didn't know it was a thing to look out for, but in case anyone is like me, that would be useful to know.
