Great book on understanding ADHD
I’ve read a few books on ADHD since I was diagnosed. I would say this one is the most up to date and is really clear. The structure of the book makes it easy to dip in and out but also to read cover to cover (as I did). I have quoted some great moments from this in recent discussions with friends and my therapist. It’s been a useful resource in helping me to understand my ADHD better.

Great introduction to ADHD
Laid out clearly what some of the challenges of ADHD are, and its a great first step to understanding yourself or your loved ones more.

Informative
An interesting insight into ADHD. Very informative with lots of good tips and easy to read without being too scientific.

Written by doctors with ADHD for folk with it (or in relationships with folk who do)
A mix of how the ADHD brain works differently and straightforward suggestions on how to mitigate, or even better, to make it work in your favour

Beautifully written, by ADHD lived experienced and very beautiful souls
I absolutely loved this book, can highly recommend and will be buying copies for friends and our local schools. I personally bought the book to figure out coping strategies for my almost seven year old son and me, both AuADHD. I hadn't expected to be so profoundly moved, nor to learn so much. Thank you with huge gratitude for this gem of a book, and the treasure trove of empowering knowledge and practical tips within ♥️🙏🏻

The best book yet!!!
Out of all the ADHD books I’ve read since being diagnosed I’ve found this to be the best. So informative and with top tips to help. I loved it. I’m going to buy a physical copy now too.

Fine
So far great! Seen mixed reviews from others saying women’s perspective is missing which is a massive shame, otherwise I think it’s good so far

Good read
Interesting read but put off by the regular reference to ‘Dr Halliwell’ doing x and y who is one of the authors
