Goldblatt Grout Removal Tool with Replacement Carbide Tip, Scraper Tools

Best scrapper tool I’d ever used. I used this in addition to my other caulking tools. Very good to scrape up all the residue dry caulk that stuck inside the seams while my other caulking tools can’t get them out because of the size of my other tools. This one gets the job done.

I have old stubron grout in my tub / shower area . A friend lent me a tool more like a cutter . I ordered this and was going to return it . I opened it up looked at it . It's actually a well built tool I planned on trying it out ( keeping it ) OMG how much easier with the tool . The long handle is leverage . The end ( cutter ) does wonders . Works great And they give u a extra end ( cutter ) . Highly recommend .

Okay, if you have discolored grout that you can't clean with regular grout cleaners, scraping is your last resort, and this tool DOES let you do that. If you have a large area of tile to scrape, the fact that the tool comes with a replacement head is a plus, because the scraping WILL wear the metal. If this is your first time doing this, you'll find that you need to develop your own techniques, e.g., holding the scraping head at a slight angle to get all of the area between the tiles, etc. You will also want to break the task into 1- and 2-hour efforts with frequent breaks over the course of a week. You'll also want to get a SMALL tub of replacement grout from your local hardware store to fill in the holes and gouges. That said, if you have moldy grout that you need to deal with, and you have the following options: 1) Scraping grout 2) Walking into your boss's office to tell him what an idiot he is while playing "Happy Days Are Here Again" on an accordion 3) Divorcing, or 4) Enlisting and volunteering for service in the Middle East, ... I would NOT opt for choice #1.

This is a little more aggressive than the 12mm square carbide insert scrapers, but it's a good kind of different. Much more aggressive but not to the point of being a plane, took dried glue right off without damage. It will remove wood/underneath if you bear on it much at all but it will take off glue residue like magic wand. Also great for deburring aluminum T-track i had just cut an this was handy sand it worked great with no damage to the carbide bit. This, combined with the 12mm square carbide insert scrapers compliment each other perfectly, where this is aggressive and can get into trim corner features , the square one can do the light duty work, saving the blade life on it. I'm not sure how extra extra inserts would be found, unsure of specifications and it's a nut holding it onto the rod rather than a Torx screw, but I doubt I'll make all3 sides of 2 inserts dull anytime in the next several years so it doesn't matter. Having the spare blade is a big bonus!

The tool works well. Nice having the replacement cutter included. not a big investment when it comes to tools that make a job go so much easier.

Pro tool for serious grout removal. Carbide replaceable triangular tips; comes with 1 spare, comfortable hand grip and sturdy shank. This is a must for old silicone, tough latex acrylic and even Lexel removal. Would buy again.

Worked well to remove thinset from between tiles!!! Solid sturdy product. Happy with the results.

It has a giod shape and fits well into my hand. It not a cheaply built tool.

Pros- works really well to begin. The shape of the tool's tip is very useful (using to remove tile grout and mortar behind, tiles are 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch, so not a lot of space to maneuver and the corner of the tip works like a charm. The soft grip handle is great- I didnt see it as an advantage when purchasing originally and thought it to be more marketing, but its surprisingly comfortable when you're trying to scrape away Cons - only one is that I can already tell after minimum usage I'd say (I'm through 5 grout areas and mortar being scraped away), the tip is definitely losing its effectiveness and dulling. Positive that it comes with an extra tip, but I imagine thats why as the manufacturer knows the useful life of the tip is quite limited. Add in 3-5 tips and
